HELP On Adult Estimated Adult Weight i need help i am not understanding the groth chart. if a puppy is 4 weeks old and weighs 1 1/4Lbs. what is the estimated adult weight? |

Guesstimate only Most breeders say to take their weight at 8 weeks and times by three or their weight at 12 weeks times 2. I would guess your pup is going to be around 6-8 pounds. That is only a guess based on the weight you gave and estimating that the pup will be around 2 pounds at 8 weeks. Hope that helped. Nothing is ever for sure. My boys were 2.5 pounds at 12 weeks and now one is 6 pounds and the other is almost 8 pounds. |

size Most are not weaned at 4 weeks..and they are fat..wait until 8 weeks...still too early. |

at 12 weeks /weighs 1.3 lbs. Probably around 2.5- 3 lbs full grown . My dog Cookie weighed around that much at 12 weeks and now he's over a year old and weighs 3 lbs. Genie |

Chester weighed 1.8 lbs at 10 weeks. He is 5 lbs full grown. Gracie weighed 2.3 lbs at 10 weeks and turned out 4.8 full grown. I use the charts as a guestimate, but you really don't know for sure. Also, Chester is known to throw small pups. He's been studded out a couple of times and with all the pups, full grown range from 3.2 lbs to 4.8 lbs. |
