Rollin Rollin Rollin.... Hey guys, Me and Tobie went to visit my dad, his fiance and his sister Zoe from the same litter. While I was there, I was sitting out in the grass with them running around. BOTH of them would stop occasionally and just roll around in the grass on their backs. Does anyone else's yorkie do this and if so, does anyone know why? Thanks:p |
Maybe their backs itched. Were there any bugs in the grass? |
lexi does that sometimes at my brother house where there is grass.. i bet ya its the coolness of the grass and it feels good cause its like prickles on them |
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fym7_WE2R1U like this? they look so cute doing it. |
That's Chip's FAVORITE thing to do outside is roll in the grass... the next thing is run... for a little dog he sure does have a lot of energy |

Daisy and My big dog Amy both do this Kodi isn't as into it though. |
Milo does it too---------I love how he looks like it's just the best thing while he's doing it. |
My yorkie does not do this on the grass but she does this all the time on the area rug. I just think she likes the way it feels. I use to have a pug that did this constantly on the grass. He was famous for doing it after my husband mowed the grass and he would be covered in grass stains. |
Chizzie loves Loves LOVES to roll in the grass -- especially if there are horse apples present!. |
What they are doing when they roll around on something and even flop like a fish on dry land, is rubbing whatever scent they picked up onto themselves. It's cute to watch, but lets hope they don't find something really "stinky". :D |
Lucy and Rebel do it too! They're so funny to watch because when they both finish they usually end up chasing each other.:) |
Both my babies do it. Especially after baths, lol. |
my little prego girl does it. haha its the funniest thing, she can barely get over onto her back anymore:P |
