Sawyer at theMall 1 Attachment(s) We took Sawyer to North Carolina with us this weekend to see my nephew return from Iraq.:D :D The next day we all went to the mall to get Chris a new cell phone, and Sawyer rode the merry go round with my husband. The security guards said we had to leave because dogs are not allowed in the mall, but so many people were taking pictures of him in his shades riding the merry go round that the guard finally left us alone!! he loved it and rode twice. My nephew said one day he is being shot at, and the next he's watching a dog ride an eagle--- only in America:usaheart: :usaheart: |
that's cute! I'm glad they left you alone! |
Glad your nephew is home and safe..tell him thank you for protecting us!!! And that photo of your baby is too cute!! Where did you get the glasses?? And he actually keeps them on his face!?? :) |
They both look so happy! I'm glad your nephew is back and safe! And great choice in picking the eagle to ride! USA! USA! USA! |
what a great picture! a huge thank you to your nephew..... |
LOL the last thing you said just made me laugh :D Not that your nephew being shot at is funny, but you know what I mean I'm sure :p And BLESS HIM for what he does by the way! Sawyer looks sooo incredibly PRECIOUS riding that merry go round and that is so cool that the security guard finally backed off after everyone started taking pictures :D Hehehe, and thats so cute that he loved it and rode it twice! :D |
Cute! Cute! |
Thanks to all of you that sent good wishes to my nephew. It was one of the most emotional things I have ever seen. it rained so hard all day, and all of those families stood in the rain waiting for the buses to come in. There were many delays, and the busses that should have come in at 1:30, arrived around 5:30. People stood in the rain, cheering and singing along with the speakers. There were grandparents, new wives, and several new babies never seen by their fathers yet. As those young marines got off those busses, everyone was so anxious to get to their marine; but there was no shoving, only people helping others get to their loved ones. I have never been prouder to be an American. This was Chris's second tour in Iraq, and it had been extended, so we were overjoyed to see him. This is the story the news should tell, not what the polititions want us to hear. We sent them there, and we damn well better support them. God bless our troops, and our country.:) |
