I replied to an advert on onestia.com.
puppiescity_4reall AT yahoo DOT com <----Cameroon scam!
And on petclassifieds, doggies DOT com.
I got two replies from Doggies, one yesterday,the other this morning.
The lady called me and told me she still had two puppies left,a boy and a girl!
Going for $800,ACK reg'd mom & dad.She then said she'd let me have her for $700!!
I went berserk! I ran and told hubby what went on,he said go get her! I don't do freeways,so I called a friend of mine ( hubby had to work) but he couldn't do it due to other bobligations....dang!
Now what....ASK PAULA!
Here I am sitting in my house coat,looking worst for wear......I threw on anything I could find,and ran out to Paula's house (she has 3 beagles!) I told her what's what, she said ok.
YEZZZZZZZZZZZ!
About 3:15pm,we set on to worlds UNKNOWN!
heading toward Columbia,SC.

Four hours later,we're close to where we need to be...........now, the hunt begins.
We were in the hills and back woods, just miles away from the border of North Carolina!
Once we got of the freeway,it was back wood from there....dark,long,widing back wood roads.
Let's just say,if you run out of gas..........your Sugar Honey Ice Tea out of luck!
I could go on with what happened for the next 4 hours,but I won't.
This is a post,not a novel! LOL
We get to the house with the help of the lady's son......( he came to the fire house we found...we followed him home.)

Met the "kids", "Mom & Dad".
The little boy was soooo tiny,he could fit in your hand.
His sister is 2 of him put together.
The lady was really nice,clean,friendly.
We did what we had to do.......and headed out back to civilization.
3:00am................Home again!

Bonnie and her brother slept with the lady at bed time.
So as soon as we went to bed, I placed Bonnie on the bed, she laid right down.
Resting her head on my arm.
when hubby got home this morning from work,she sounded the alarm!

PHEW.

Because the lady was so nice,I named my new baby after her.

So,without further ado, may I introduce to you........BONNIE, my 5 month old ACK Yorkshire Terrier!:aimeeyork

Shes adorable, but sweetie, do you have a collar on her? A harness is a much better choice for a yorkie. A collar can damage their trachea.

She is soooo cute, and looks like she'll be VERY loved. My mom and I had an adventure when we went to get Otis. It's a wonder we ever found the breeder lady's house. Out in the sticks of the back woods, my mom says it was just meant to be that we found him. Congratulations!!!
