Constantly shaking...?!? I don't know if this just recently happened but I just noticed it this morning. Buttercup is constantly shaking. (Similar to when dogs are wet) When I touch him, when I brush him, before and after he eats. It just seems like he is doing it about every 10-15 minutes. What could this mean? Also, he was neutered on Wednesday and was eating perfectly fine up until last night. He is not eating at all. I filled up his dish with food and water and as of now, it's still full. What am I to do? |
 Anyone? I need answers! |
Get some nutrical or syrup into him to make sure he has not gone hypoglycemic and call the vet. Does his incision look infected at all? You could try feeding him something special like chicken to see if that will entice him to eat. I hope he feels better soon. Keep us posted. |
I would say that something is surely wrong! I wonder if he has a fever or something like that. I would call the vet as soon as possible. Maybe it would be good to wrap and hold him too. Poor baby, good luck. |
Did you talk to the vet? I hope he feels better. |

One more thing force feed him...they are too little to go without food for too long. Feed him chicked or turkey baby food with a serrenge see if he eats that...or boil him chicken...and ad some honey to his water and see if that works. |
Does his ears look ok, they shake when their ears hurt. And you can check his temp...carefully...rectally. If he's feverish, the insides of his ears may look red/pinkish. Hope your baby feels better... |
His ears and everything seems normal. I am too scared to take his temperature. I tried force feeding him and about 15 minutes later, he threw up. I couldn't get in touch with his vet so I contacted an animal hospital. They told me that these are normal symptoms of post-neutered animals and could last up to two weeks???? |
I never heard of that being normal after a neuter especially 2 weeks. If he is not better or gets worse over night I would take him in. Poor baby and I know how worried you are. |
When i got baci neutuered he shook for a couple of days. And hid alot. I dont think he knew what was going on with him and im sure he was sore. He did eat though. how long has this been going on? keep us updated. |

Sounds like he has a fever. You need to get him to a Vet. ASAP. He could have an infection. The shaking can be pain related too. Poor guy needs some meds. |
that usually means pain when they shake.... did the vet give you anything for pain....? My little one will sometimes vibrate for a couple of seconds and then stop just as he is falling to sleep.... I don't know why ... but he will just shake for a few seconds then stop.. |
