1st time here..question about car seats; safety belts Hi everyone, I'm the proud owner of a little 1 1/2 yr old boy, named JPop, who is a whoping 6 lbs. How do the rest of you travel in cars with your babies? I'm considering a harness that clicks into a seat belt. (saw them on ebay) Has anyone used these or know about them. I think this forum is great! I can't beleive I knew so little about yorkies. Since I been reading this forum, about 2 days now, I'm really considering getting a second baby. Hubby wants us to get a son from JPop, but, I'm in a small town and don't really know of anyone else with a female. My daughter has a female, Kitti-Kitti, but she is JPop's sister. So, we're still working on the second baby. |

The bottom is a suitcase to store things like a wee wee pad, leash, nutrical - whatever you want. The top is removable and can beome a little lay area when out. It has a GREAT strong hook to hook onto their harness and it sits real high so she can see out the window. The seat betl goes through straps on the back. It is actually pretty light weight for removal |
Jack rides in a seat that is like a soft box, it has a strap that goes around the front seat, and another strap that hangs around the head rest. So he is up above the seat and can see out of the window. It also has a hook for his harness, so he can't jump out. It is big enough for him to lie down if he wants. He is 6 pounds. I really like the look of Tammy and Bella's one. The storage is a plus. |

Is it a Outward Hound? If so, they are great. As young as Maggie is, she has never cried, when we put her in it. They say to gradually get them use to going Bye Bye, but this carseat makes it easy the first time out. |
Thanks for all the replys......car seats sound nice, I just don't know if JPop would stay in one. I bought one of the pouch things you can carry them in and he wouldn't even let me put him in it. Anyway, I may give it a try. |
I havent thought about getting a car seat for macy. Do you think just using her carrier is still ok/safe? |

Trust me. The carseat Outward Hound, has a safety clip, that clips to the collar or harness. It's just a short lead that keeps them from jumping out of the seat. Believe me, most of the time our Maggie has a new name of Maggot. She has never attempted to get out of her carseat. |
