My 11wk old puppy is... ... already HUMPING! Just last night I witnessed something that wasn't possible for a puppy at such a young age. He started humping this play dog thats 10x bigger than him. And where does he get his "doggy" position from? lol |
3 Attachment(s) Look how innocent he IS! |
Just like a man, always looking for a piece of @#%!!!:aimeeyork |
Oh, what cute pics, your little Rusty is growing up:) Even my female will hump her toys once in a while - LOL! |

Wow! 11 weeks! Mr. Studly McMan! :D |
Rusty does look innocent :angel2dl: in your pics... BUT, look into his eyes.... he looks like a playboy to me :eyetearss |
Your little angel is just showin' that toy who's boss!! ;) |
That's a really cheeky face though, with a definate glint in his eye! ;) |
doesnt neuturing help with that? well, maybe you could try distracting him when he does that, i dont know, maybe its just a phase lol |
Dogs will hump, hump, and hump every chance they can get. :p They like to show everyone that they're dominant. Mine started humping my feet when he was about 3 months old. After that, I got him a stuffed toy so he could use that instead of my feet. Then I gradually took the toy away and he doesn't do it any more. |
Dogs do it to show their dominance. If you tell him to stop and reinforce that, he won't do it anymore. |
Yah.... I find with my Rusty just a "ah" or "ah ah" will make him stop and walk away. Not saying he doesnt come back.... but he just gets an "ah" again. |
what a cutie....mine both girl and boy humps and they started at a young age |
Rusty is gonna be a heartbreaker...just look into those eyes...they'll just melt anyones (or anythings) heart. At least it's just the toy he's humpin'. He's trying to dominate it, doubt very much that he really knows what he's doin'...yet anyway. |
