you need to call the vet. anytime there is blood in the stool, it isn't good. it could be any number of things like guardia or coccida. That can really be hard on the baby. Even fatal to little ones so the earlier you treat it the better. |
Agreed..........call your vet ASAP! Good luck, let us know what happens! |
Sophie does that and has had cocidiosous (sp?) in the past. Strange though.... I find that if she gets Rusty's Canidae she is like that and if she eats JUST her Eukenuba, normal firm stools w/out the extra surprises. I dont know... they have even given her an extra de-wormer incase they arent getting that perfect sample. Other than that she is healthy now and I am excited. Good luck |
Ok, i called the vet, have to take her toay @ 11, spoke to the nurse on the phone, she said it could be worms....... i dont know, im so upset right now, i dont know what to do, shes everything to me.............. |
Poor baby...Man we're seeing this alot lately :( :( ....I'm glad you have an appointment - anytime you see blood the vet needs to be seen. GOOD luck...it could be something like coccidia which is pretty easy to treat compared to other things |
Don't worry they can fix her up with meds. |
Let us know what the vet says. Keep your head up... she'll pull through it :) |
Ok, the vet said i have to wait on the results from the stool i had to take, and regarding one of my previous post about her breathing, he said that he thinks she has "reverse sneezing". We need your prayers for the results tomorrow. thanks guys:confused: |
Prayer's coming for your little one. Hope everything comes back ok and whatever it is can be treated with meds. Fingers crossed for both of you. |
