Tetley used to fart real bad when he was a tiny puppy but we changed his food and now he just gives one great big belch after his dinner. Sounds really funny! It's like clockwork too - he'll finish eating, walk over to where me and hubby are sitting on the couch and we'll look at each other and say 'here it comes!'. Sure enough - "buuuuuuuuuuuuuurp!". I just take it to mean he really enjoyed his dinner. :p Don't know what you can do about the car farts though! He's probably just nervous. |
OMG Kevin you had me Rolling sorry But it is funny in a cute way. I had a springer mix that would do this. maybe the ride relaxes her an she just lets loose. LOL |

The other week in the car Gypsy and Ellie were on my Mum's knee when Gypsy threw up... on Ellie! That went down well! :( |
Awe that is so sad, if they get car sick why keep taking them in the car, poor babies, ok well I learned or heard this somewhere: do not feed or give them anything to drink befor driving in car. Hunter is not use to driving in a car, he hasn't gotten sick or passed wind but he deffinately shakes and wimpers a little while driving on my lap. So maybe you can try making sure he doesn't eat anything befor your trips. Hope the baby feels better! |
we are having the same problem! she's been on the same food (puppy chow) since she was a pup, but recently she's been clearing out the room! any suggestions?? lol |
Toby's also a car farter. He probably does it elsewhere it's just not as obvious.:D |
I really needed a good laugh and this post did it! Sorry... When I brought Thor home he was being feed Royal Cain. After reading lots of post I decided to try Solid Gold wee bit. Since the vet said it would be good for our dashound Streach I changed him over slowly. OMG he can now clear a room, something he never did before so food can definitely do it. |
I am sorry that I laughed so hard that I almost fell out of my chair with Cupcake in my lap. This is the BEST thread I have ever read. I haven't laughed this hard or loud in years. I love all the answers especially the convertable. Oh, back to your question. I have only had a fart issue with my 14 year old toy poodle about 5 years ago, he would wake us up with a fart and we'd have to leave the bed. Now he just burbs and I still laugh at him and tell him "Did Daddy fix you a yummy dinner tonight?" |
Tibbe would do it if it would get him attention. |
You post title made me laugh out loud! My guys don't do that - at least not that I notice! |
My yorkie doesn't, but my husband does. Anyone have a remedy for that?? On a serious note, I had a daschund that did this and as soon as we got to our destination she would have to poop. And it was always a "soft" poop. Like it would be formed, but softer than her normal poops. I always thought it was nervous excitement. |
Ok, sorry I too had to laugh at this. Never had a farting yorkie, but boy can Foxy burp! It is amazing the sound she can make with that tiny body of hers, one day she did it and my husband swore it was me! LOL...She isnt very ladylike at all! |
