Can you believe this?? I had a trainer come in here today to help with Bella. The woman was a quack. She got on the floor rolled around and Bella could have cared less. She tells me that Bella is "unsocialized" I responded with..."no she just doesn't know what your doing." So then the woman starts howling...and Bella jumps up (from playing with her toy) and runs over to see what she is doing. She jumped on her back legs and sniffed the woman. The woman claims that Bella is aggressive because of this. I started hysterically laughing. Then she tells me that I am not qualified to be a dog owner...people like me are people who end up with vicious dogs. Because I can't read the signals of a nasty dog. I told her that she is on the floor howling; and Bella thinks she is playing. Final straw; she tells me not to talk to Bella AT ALL besides commands; communication interferes with the pack leadership role. Never hold or hug her!! And no petting! I was soooooo annoyed, and humored at the same time. The woman was a complete quack. A complete waste of $50. But well worth the humor. Has anyone heard anything like this before? |
No, I have never ever heard such nonsense. Sounds like a real quack job to me. She probably was not even a dog trainer just says she is for $. There are some real wack jobs in this world. You are right though it will make a forever laugh.:D |
no way but i agree with you shes a quack :eek: i mean how can she be agresssive if shes is wondering what the heck this weirdo is doing, she more likely being in shock from this weirdo i have never heard of any of that excpet for the dont alk to them excpet commands but thats not for veryone though my neighbor is certified k9 police guy and he has 2 huge german shpeards and they cannot be talked to in english and they cannot be talked to outside of commands he actullay talk to them in like german or something, it is not spanish and its not english, and you cannot pet them or talk to them as you wil throw off their traing and they have them trained to walk on on their right side to right next to them, weird huh but other than that i dont think that applys to every dog, unless you want a vicious mean killer dog :cool: but hey it was an expensive laugh but wasnt it a good one? its like my aunt the PYSCHO logist shes a werido if she trained dogs she would be like that :) |
What a crazy lady!! Heck, you could have gone to a comedy club for a lot less, lol. ;) Did you get any pictures? Now that would have been hilarious to see. |
speaking of pictures; I actually tried to. And the woman got all freaked out. I told her it was for Bella's baby book...but she asked me not to take pictures. I was going to take a picture when she was on the floor in a fetal position; howling like a wolf...what a weirdo. I am still laughing over it. And she is telling me a 4 pound dog is vicious? Bella was looking like...What the?? |

What a gimmic going. We should all do this for extra money. Go to someones house pretending to train. Jump around, howl, tell the owner not to talk or pet her furbaby. They'll pay you, & ask you not to return. To funny. That was a quick $50 bucks. |
Is the moon full??:confused: I had a trainer come to the house, and she was wonderful. She totally ignored sawyer while she talked to me, and when he settled down she began to work with him. I'm glad I had a good one, but I wish I could have seen your nut job!:D The funny thing is, she is supposed to train you so you can train your dog. Did she ask you to lay on the floor and howl? Now that would have been one for Americas funniest home videos. |

She isn't a trainer at all and you should have ask for certification card. I would have kick her out after the first stupid remark. I find no humor in someone out to scam. |

Did the lady know what "aggressive" means? lol I've heard that alot of trainers say we shouldn't cuddle our dogs and treat them like babies because they're dogs, not babies. I think they mean we should only cuddle and kiss them when they are doing good things. I'm sure if a trainer comes along and sees this post, they can explain it better than me. Personally, I like cuddling my little Jake and he still listens to me really well and is very well behaved. I think I would have kicked her out after she told you that you weren't qualified to be a dog owner. What gives her the right to judge you? You obviously are a good dog owner, you're trying to get good training for your dog.......but that lady certainly isn't the one to give you that! She sounds a little weird to me lol |

I did call the vet too to let them know that they shouldn't recomend her; I think she seriously was a danger to herself. She was VERY weird. If I could have told everything she done you would have to run to the bathroom to pee form laughter. Just weird. Howling,rolling, digging like an animal on my carpet, barking towards the wall, fetal positions, it was bizarre. I just stood and watched. And someone asked if she asked me to join in...she did. I just declined. :D Howling really isn't my thing. I told her Bella doesnt even do that...are you teaching her negative habits. She told me that Bella is from the canine species and needs to reconnect with her first being. BEWARE of weird trainers everyone. |

Okie dokie then....... Tonight we were relaxing on the back deck with drinks----Hubster was having Bailey's on the rocks and I was having a roasted toasted almond (kahlua, vodka, amerretto and cream) Milo kept insisting on trying to drink them. Yes, he was on the table :rolleyes: , the drinks look just like my energy fix I make him when he doesn't want to eat--- an organic brown sugar syrup with skim milk---------I got tired of telling him no and off and just growled and snapped at him. It so worked. I will be sending myself an invoice for $50 in the morning.:p |

We don't allow digging in the house :p What a freak! I think she would have had to fight me for the 50 bucks!! I would turn her in to .... someone?!?!
