Please keep good thoughts for my girls
 
Tomorrow Maya goes in for her ACTH test to see if the medicine worked for her Cushing's Disease, We had to stop the 5th and last day of medicine as she got sick and the vet said that it may be a sign that the adrenal gland has been shrunk enough to go on a maintenance dose. Although I have seen no improvement in her symptoms. Then Cali goes in at 3 pm tomorrow for a possible UTI and for her continued scratching in spite of many different meds and Pixie is going in to get microchipped at the same time. She's only 3 lbs so I am worried it will be very painful. So please keep them in your thoughts.

I just posted to you in the BROTHER Sister thread and pm'd you....I'm so sorry Cute Cali may have a possible UTI and is still itchy...and am really concerned for that pretty Maya...You have alot on your plate girl and you're always in my thoughts -

you're such a great mom...I just wish everyone was healthy and feeling better.... GOOD LUCK TOMMORROW !!!!!!!! The girls & I send lots of smoochies and postive thoughts and I'll be waiting for an update....I really hope it's good news - you all deserve it

I'll definitely be praying for your girls. I hope the treatment worked for Maya, and that she will be just fine. And as for Cali, hopefully you can find the source of her itchiness. I can imagine how miserable that must be for her. Also, that her UTI goes away.

Sending healing thoughts and wishes. Good luck to your Maya, and I hope they find whats wrong and help Cali with the itching. Also good luck with the Pixie's microchipping. Wise move with all the Yorkie missing posts I've been seeing and hearing about.

Update On vet visits
 
Maya had her test this morning and we won't get the results for a few days.
Cali does not have a UTI and the vet said she really thinks Cali has food allergies and the only thing to do is a food elimination diet. So I need to send her a list of all the foods Cali is on and the ingredients and she will see if any are ok to start with. Then CAli can have nothing else but one food for 4 months. I don't know how I can do that do her, I will try though. Pixie got her microchip and the vet said she was the bravest one she has ever microchipped and especially with her being so small. She said she did not even flinch. Then on the way home Pixie threw up all over Cali and didn't get a speck on herself. So I picked up Cali before I realized it was all over her and got it all over me while I'm driving. Glad that's all over with !!Thanks for all the good thoughts.

So sorry for laughing but the throw up story did make me chuckle....and way to Go Pixie !! show those doctors what you're made of...what a good girl. :thumbup: :thumbup:

So you won't know anything for a few days on Maya ??? :( :( I was just going to check with you and found your update....and holy cow - allergies are hard to pin down..Poor Cali....I\'m glad she doesn\'t have a UTI but that would have been easier to treat than an allergy...I feel for you girl.
