Boys are such softies! I love it My hubby and I just recently got a Yorkie Pup! We have only had her three weeks. It took me a year and a half on connivence him to let me get one! He couldn;t understand spending so much money on a "dog". He just didnt understand, finally after enough nagging he agreed. We drove 5 hours to pick her up, we stayed a few hours and watched all the puppies play together. An hour after leaving the breeders he was so upset that we didnt get two!!! He keeps asking me if we can get another one! I am the one that is home with her and has to do most of the potty training so he knows it is up to me if I can handle two, but he always bring it up to call the breeder and see what we can do. It is so adorable, he comes home from works and sit there and talks to her and loves on her. She is so his little girl! I find it hilarious when the "tuff" guy falls in love with Yorkie! :) |

My hubby would not have to ask me twice.......the first time he even mentioned getting another one I would be on the phone w/the breeder. But you are right you have to make sure you can handle it.:animal-pa |

It's just as easy to train one as two. Getting 2 at the same time would be great!!! They really do love to play with each other. I say go for it!! |

I say get another one. I got My second one 4 weeks after My first and it worked out for me. Is a little bit tougher potty traning but you wll get through it |

Potty training was my only concern but Meeka, shockingly is almost completly trained. like i said we have only had her for 3 weeks but after about one weeks she goes to the door when she needs to go out. So I am hoping the a new baby wont mess her up! |

I think two at the same time would be awesome! I wish my hubby would say we should get another one.....I'd be on that phone before the words were totally out of his mouth lol |

I started in on my husband about getting a puppy when our last child moved out. It took about 6 months and he finally agreed. I was set on getting a Pom. We saw some yorkie pups at the flea market and he said "That is what I want." We found Shooter and he was sooo tiny. I babied him and Allen said " No 2 lb dog is going to run my house." LOL!!!!!!!!! You should him now. Shooter definatly runs the house. Plus we got Emma because he wanted another yorkie. If he gets his way we will have three!!!!!!!! |

my boyfriend was the reason i got a yorkie! last year about 2 months before his birthday he had to put his border collie down. when i asked him what he wanted for his birthday he said a yorkie. i was shocked, but 1 month later i found him Little Man. and 6 months later i couldnt live without one and ended up with pebbles. |
