It may be that Coco relates you putting on your mascara and/or makeup to leaving the house and leaving him. Just a thought. |
Pixie goes nuts if anything new is in the house like a box or something out of place. She will run over at it and start barking. I have to pick her up and bring her over to it and tell her it is ok. You should of seen here when I got out the fan...........she was going nutts!! lol |

OK i have a huge list. My guy Moto attacks black socks, not white ones blue ones or any other color just black ones. And flip-flops, the thong kind that make a noise when you walk with them. He tries to rip them off your feet. And games that buzz like operation. We have a weekly game night in my house and he totally freaks out over those kinds of things. And any cell phone thats on vibrate. Now as far as get overly excited about, laundry day. First he helps sort clothes, honestly. And yes the dreaded attack of the panties.... he makes a b line for the dryer every time it buzzes and will bark if I don't open the door right away. And the fridge ice dispenser when he hears it kick on he can't be stopped till he gets to the kitchen. We don't help with that habit b/c we always give him a bit of ice b/c its too cute. one more thing... I am sure all of your babies would do this too, but my son races motocross and when he has his gear on like helmet and boots and pants and a shirt and glove he will growl at him till he takes his helmet off but wont let him pet him till hes out of his gear. I can no longer allow my son to leave his helmet in the house b/c Moto will sit and growl for hrs if we left it sitting. |
HITTING! Rex goes NUTS if anyone try to 'hit' or kick me. if anyone try to hurt me he will kill you! jumping up and snapping! he fangs come out! :eyetearss my little guard dog |
gatsby goes nuts over the dogswell sweet potato and chicken treats also he will attack and bite any lump in the blanket even lumps that make daddy scream when he bites them |
Let's see, where to start, Chloe hates so much. She barks in her most shrill voice and sometimes her chin quivers at all these things while trying to kill them. Ironing board, (I'm so glad I'm not the only one), and the iron. Plastic trash bags when I am changing them. Shoes, when I am putting them on. Any recycle stuff, she knows I am going to take it outside. The doorbell. The phone. Anyone going near the door. The sweeper. The swiffer mop. Bringing in the groceries or any bags. The mailman. All the while Willow is barking at Chloe, she hates the barking too, and tries to be dominate by humping her, I suppose to shut her up. And Willow is the tiny! It's just like a 3-ring circus. |
Walks....and us coming home...otherwise he does not get excited...7 year old, old man:) Oh and he "chirps" like a bird at my hubby and I when we hug... |
Very few things make Jackson crazy which I am thankful and grateful for. Hmmm... probably the only time I see his crazies come out are when we visit at my dads house with their 2 dogs and he turns into Mr. Spazz. When the four wheelers come on, he barks out of excitement because he knows he gets to chase them... through the fence of course! :p But he also likes to ride on them with me and has a blast just sniffing the air (I go really slow with him). I don't know what switch comes on w/ him over at my dads house but he's such a different dog over there... thank goodness we don't live there, we only visit 1-2x per week overnights. I think it's just all the excitement of the 2 other dogs and 2 cats and the energy over there is a lot higher than other places we visit. Hes fine sleeping overnight with my grandma's Lab and has no issues! Other than that, Jackson's a pretty well balanced laid back dog, he doesn't care about trash cans, ironing boards, mops, pant legs, brooms or... anything really. I would never let him anyways lol and I think he knows that. The only thing he does is go barking at the door when he hears it opening but quiets down within a few seconds once he realizes the person is a-okay!;) Edit- this thread is from 2005! oops! |
Roxie HATES the vacuum. She will chase after it and try to attack it. We've gotten to the point where one of us takes her out for a walk while the other one vacuums. She also hates the Swiffer mop. She flips if you try to reach in at her from the top of the ex-pen. She goes the most bonkers when we have to clean the hamster cage. We put the hamster in her ball and close her in the bathroom while we do it. Roxie will scratch and bark at the bathroom door the entire time. She freaks every time we even take the hamster out to pet her! |
Kleenex tissues! Sophie is the worlds best pick pocket. She loves to shred them. Socks and underwear, too:rolleyes: The only thing that will make her release anything she has that I want is a tiny piece of cheese. I just say to her "say cheese!" and she will relinquish whatever she has for a taste of cheese.:D |
What a Relief! It's so good to know Yorkies can be such individuals. Bella attacks the dust mop and fluffy duster as well as she HATES pump aerosol of any kind. If she hears the pumping sound she runs away. |

But on the other side, if I have a water bottle sitting out and it cracks by itself and Peanut hears it he will get scared start shaking and go hide in the closet.. |
Mine go nuts for sqeaky toys. And if you say the word "cat." Trixie is NOT a fan of the ones that hang around outside our house....then again, neither am I. |
