I trained Teddy, when I first got him at 10 weeks old. I carried him in a carrier right away but for some reason he never liked it. When he was smaller he couldn't do anything about it because he was so tiny but now I just let him walk. :rolleyes:

WOW 11 lbs? I would make my bf carry my dog if he weighed that much. Teddy is 8 lbs and my arms get tired from holding him

Friday is 3 lbs now and Monday is 4.5 lbs.

Of course they do!! Princesses need to be carried around! :p Maybe that's why London prefers not to walk on concrete, or she'll get her little paws dirty :rolleyes:

OMG that sounds JUST like London :eek: She likes being in her carrier and stays completely quiet when in it except if we stay still for too long, then she will begin to make noises. But then she refuses to walk on the ground with a leash, and wants me to pick her up so I just take her carrier everywhere anyway

Cozy loves to get into trouble at home by running around like a mad women. But out in public she like to be carried or in her doggie bag. Almost forgot she is between 10 and 11 pounds. Depends on the day and the scale.

I do not think it has anything to do with the size, it is their personalities. I have a 13 lb Shih Tzu that perfers to be carried in a carrier or ride in a stroller. She is a diva through and through. I also have a 7 lb Yorkie who loves to walk. She will only get in the carrier or stroller when her little legs are too tired to go on. She is the exact opposite of her sister--she is pure tomboy!
