Questioning clipping Babybear down for Accupunture Hey there Everyone, I am questioning if I should clip Babybear down to about a 1/4 inch for his accupunture. I have never had accupunture done on him before and he is going to start next week. I just thought maybe if I clipped him down some it would be easier to find the accupunuture spots on him. Please if anyone has had accupunture on their babies please let me know if it would be easier if I clip him down. Also it is becoming warmer and he is starting to pant. I have thought to get him a puppy cut and if he is cold I will just put a shirt on him. He is having the accupunture to see if it will help him walk. I have started new massage on him and he is standing now and walking in circles. Hoping the accupunture makes him walk straight and better. Thank you for your help in advance. |
I don't know if you have to cut him down for accupuncture, but if he's getting warm due to the warmer temperature, maybe a puppy cut would be good for him :) And you're right, a t-shirt of some pj's would keep him warm if he does get cold. I'm so happy that he has actually stood up for you and walked a bit!!! I hope this accupuncture is just what he needs to help him have a full recovery. I'll be praying for your sweet little Babybear!! |
You won't need to cut him down for the accupuncture. Actually the hair helps keep them cool, and cutting it down will only make him more uncomfortable in the heat. |
It shouldn't be necessary to clip him... My vet finds the points by feeling around. |
