All of the Names Are Taken!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I think up a name for my new baby, I use the search feature and there is already a Yorkie with that name on here already!:mad: I'm trying to be somewhat original, but someone has always beaten me to it!! |
look online for japanese, korean, arabic, spanish, british, native american male or female names and you will be surprised how original you can be! |

My name isnt very oringinal My dogs names are Annastaisa Rose Egbert thats her akc name i call her anna and my other dogs name is Oliver Fredrick he is not registered. Maybe you could try something like what my sister did with her chiuhaha. Her name is Emma's baby Buffy. My sister being emma and they call the dog buffy. |

I'm debating over the name too. Names suck :) I had thought I was going to name my puppy Bella when I finally got her (before I even found the puppy) but there's a couple of Bella's on here and well, she doesn't look like a Bella. :confused: |

Well we thought we were being origional when we named ours Peeka and Boo lol we now have Daisy too lol. for a girl i love the Georgia Peach name very cute! i also like Kylee ,Lilly,Annabelle, for some reason i love the name Petunia lol. Have you ever looked at crayola crayon names the have some unique ones that would make cute dog names lol. for boys i like pierre. I also love funny names like kitty for a big dog or tiny, or cujo and butch for a little bitty dog it cracks me up. when i go to the zoo i always say here kitty kitty to the elephants and monkey lol hahahahaha. What about a name of a country like Paris or Brazil or look at old world names like sebastion or annastashia. |
that is funny you would say this I was thinking the very same thing the other day....but my frustration is for Not, as I have not found a Yorkie yet.....but...soon.....so, wanting to come up with a name.... I suggest using a song.......even an old song....then add a nickname to that.... Like.....ummmmmm "Dream Believer" and call her/him.....Bee, or Dreamie....you get it.......kinda fun, and more original than some other ways.....JMHO. :):) I bet we could start a thread with this idea.....of using song names....what do you think?????? Ok, I may be dating myself with the songs I choose....LOL |

Armani was not very original but since we speak fluent russian my dad also calls him ara (means friend in armanian) or brat (brother in russian) although the last one sounds like brat so I dont like it, but its a nice thought :) |
I was thinking Bijou or Bisou (Bijou means pretty little trinket, Bisou means kiss). But my best friend told me if I really wanted to name her Bella, to call her Bella. :p So now I'm thinking Bella Mia. Claire-a-Bella ;) that's cute. Eau Claire means Clear Water. My lab's 'formal' name is Clear Water's Golden Girl. :cool: |
