Harness for very small yorkie Can anyone please tell me where I can find a harness if any for my baby Mercedes. She is a very small yorkie only not even 2lbs yet. Or is this too early to be walking her. She loves to go outside and play at times. I really want to work off that energy that she has. I am a new Yorkie Mom and also need advice with training her also. Any advice would be helpful Thanks |
I have some that I can custom make to fit your baby. Here are some of them but I have different fabric. Let me know. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78012 |

I custom make Harness vest & dresses. I sent you a PM |
2 Attachment(s) Chloe's 1lb 14oz and I use a "Lil' Pals" harness on her, they're made for puppies and tiny dogs. The smallest one (10"-16" chest) JUST fits Chloe when it's pulled as tight as it can go. There's still a lot of wiggle room for her, but it can't fall off. It's also cute lol & has a little daisy on it. |

this is where I got Ciera's small harness when she was little, it is not the clothes harness but just a regular adjustable harness for walking. He has the xs ones that fit 8". He is on ebay http://stores.ebay.com/NOT-JUST-KNOT...UPPLIES-N-MORE |
Doggles makes some super cute harnesses in a size called "teacup". It fits dogs/puppies size 2lbs. and under. www.doggles.com Good luck~ Tammy |
I used my chinchilla harness on my 1 lbs girl when she was so small. Even a ferret harness is great for small dogs. you can find thm in petsmart for 8 bucks. |

I will throw my name out there, too. I make Step-In harnesses out of Dupioni silk. I have found that silk is very gentle on the hair, is light weight, very strong, and you can't beat silk for simple elegance. Each and every harness is custom fit using your measurements. I guarantee that the harness will fit or I will make what ever adjustments are necessary. I have over 30 colors of silk to choose from. Here is a link to the thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...silk+harnesses |
I also recommend Sonja @ Pocomutt. She's brilliant |
Reesee is a bit over 2 lbs, but was under for some time. I got her a lil pals harness and its the best one I have found. It is this one... http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=13149&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Po rtal-_-Shopzilla-_-Dogs-_-Li'l%20Pals%20Harness%20(fits%206"-10"%20chest%20Color:%20Daisy&ref=3474&subref=AA |
you might want to try a cat harness and some big petstores have very small harnesses for toy breeds.. Layla had one when she was a baby.. i'd give it to you but too much sentiment attached to it  |
chattiesmom makes the best harnesses. I just love them |
