What Louie did to his nose! The other day I thought Louie had something on his nose and when I looked closer I noticed that he had a little worn spot on it where the black was worn off and it was a little red! The only thing that I can figure is that he wore a little patch off when he was frantically trying to bury something on the bed in the evening....When we go to bed I will give them each a little milk bone or something and they push blankets and stuff over them to try to bury them. It is starting to heal but I was wondering if this happened to any of your babies???? |
hmmm....never heard of that. i hope it heals soon!!! i bet that is not pleasant for him :( i would hate to have part of my nose worn off :) just give him lots of kisses :) |
Poor little Louie :( Give him a great big kiss on his tiny nose from all of us. I never had this happen with my babies but the way Trixie is with hiding things, I definately think its possible :p |
Poor Louie!! I bet that is sore!!! Hope he gets better quick! Maybe put some Neosporin on it. |
We send Louie many hugs and kisses! I hope it heals really fast! :) |
Poor baby. I would put an antibioitc cream on it. I get Panalog cream from my vet for these type of things. |
When Otis was a pup, probably his first year, he liked to bury things, outside and inside in blankets. There were lots of times he came in with dirt on his nose. As hard as he went at it I expected for him to rub some skin off but he never did. Hopefully, if it's sore, Louie will take it easy on the ole shnoz for awhile. |
I hope Louie's nose heals real soon!:aimeeyork |
Awww, poor baby. Penny has rubbed a raw spot on her nose when she's boarded at the vet's before so they had to move her to a large kennel. It healed pretty quickly, though. Hope your baby heals quickly as well! That's some frantic burying! |
