Not only does Sammy paw and scratch at it until she pulls it out, but she gets her brother's help! Every time I do her hair the two of them tumble around and pull at it until it comes out. The bow is an easy target so I put the rubber band in ONLY unless we are going out somewhere and then she gets a bow. I also loosen it a little because she pulls at it more when it's tighter.
My best tip is to use the Scunci baby sized covered elastics. The only place I have found the tiny ones is CVS Pharmacy, but they are the mini version of what I use in my own hair. When she pulls them out at least they don't pull ANY hair with them and they are easy to find on the floor. They are about the size of a penny and you twist them exactly 3 times and they stay. 1/2 the package are duds that are too tight, but I found that these work the best!! |
