Yorkie Middle Names?
 

Does anyone use their Yorkies' "full names" or other certain names when scolding them when they get in trouble? I just found myself saying out loud, "Emma Lou and Milli Sue! Naughty puppies!" (they were digging in the garden!) I'm not sure that's Milli's middle name, but it rhymed, so I went with it.

Nope just the one name but have sweetim names for them! Toby is either Tober or Tobster and Kallie is just Kal or cutie girl!

That's adorable. I love it! We have some of those too, but they're not as creative-actually quite stupid, and make no sense to anyone but myself and my husband.

Mine have been little jewels. I've never had to scold, but I would never use their name if I did. They don't have a middle name, just first and last names and no nic-names either. Kind of hard to find a nic-name for Zada and Azrael. :D

My husband came up with calling our puppy Ceiba (pronounced SAY-buh) ''Ceiba-Ceib" - said like 'Flavor-Flav' (yeah, you know what I'm talkin' bout!) ;) It makes me laugh but grinds my nerves at the same time....lol...

I call my girl Sadie Louise or Sadie Lou all the time - not when scolding her - but just in general. :p

I call Jake all kinds of silly little nicknames. "Jakie-Boy", "Jake-a-Boo", "Jake-a-Boogee" (pronounced "boo-gee"), or "Jake-a-Boo-G "as my son says. Sometimes I just call him "Boogee"

I also call him my "little babydog" :)

This is real original but when Toby gets in trouble he always
becomes TOBY KEITH and then our last name. On the same
note one day when Ted got in trouble out came Theodore
James so yes I guess I have assigned middle names. lol...

I do all my dogs that i have ever had have had middle names. right now i got my yorkie Annastaisa Rose i call her anna usually. and my pomeranian Oliver Fredrick. Most of my pets have middle names my cats have middle names too at least the inside ones do. Titus Hell and Iris Hell we call them the hell twins and then Luci-fer and then Nip we thought he was girl so we named him Catherine so we could call her cat nip but it turns out hes a boy so i have to re think that one.

I use Conner's middle name when he is being scolded (usually for digging at the hardwood floors on biting the wood window sill). I will say, "Conner Jeter, stop that!!!" (Jeter is after Derek Jeter).

I named my baby Maggie Moo, and yep, I call her that all the time. Also Mooster Brewster, Maggin' Waggin' Tail's a Waggin' and when she's being naughty it's MARGARET MOOLATTE!

We call Piper "Piper Jane"!! Usually we call punkin "punk or Punky" so when we say "Punkin" she is usually in trouble

When Daisy is in trouble I say "Daisy-Bug-Brown, what the heck are ya doin".
I don't know where I got the "brown" from but it just seems to fit.

I never use their names if it's a "no!" type thing. Names shouldn't be used for scolding or the pups might start associating their name with a negative consequence.

But! I love to call out "MARCEL VERDEL PURCELL!!!" when I want him to come flying into the room, all 1.4 pounds of him, to give me kisses. I think he likes for people to call out for him like it's a STAT need for *him* to be there. So cute.

Scampers name is actually Anthony Lee Scampers but we all call him Scamp, Scampy, Scampers. We don't use his middle name when he is in trouble we just use his full name and he knows he is being bad when he hears it.

For Destiny, her middle name is Leanne so when she is being bad we call her Destiny Leanne. Her nicknames are Desi and Baby Girl, and Baby.

Peppi, my cocker, we use her full name Peppi Pepper Ann or Peppi Ann when she is into trouble. But we do use Peppi Ann at other times as well and she knows the difference between when she is being scolded or not. Her nicknames are Pepperann, old fart, stinky butt and Peppi la poo. Lol, she is older and she farts alot so that is where alot of the nicknames come from, lol.

For Trixie, we use her middle name as well, Trixie Marie, when she is being bad. Of course we use her middle name all of the time, we just use it in a different tone when she is being bad and she knows the difference. As nicknames we call her Trixie poo, Trixie bear, Trixie Pixie, Pooh Bear, Kisses, and Monkey Face.

Other than Trixie and Peppi, we don't really use their middle names much as they are pretty good most of the time but we use their nicknames alot.

my yorkie is called Gracie, or babygirl, or sungglebunny. my cat is called jazzbee-jones, or mr.jones! :P

Yep, my girl is Rhapsody Belle, and my boy is Titan Tiger. We call Titan Tiger just Tiger for short. And Rhapsody is just Rhapsody, unless they are in trouble, lol.

Eddie's middle name is used for scolding. He is Edward Hunter, which is his AKC name. If he's been really bad, I start adding other names. Edward Michael Hunter. Sometimes Edward Michael Hunter Jr. Other times, I'll throw in an extra initial: Edward H. Michael Hunter!

Emmy's full name is Piper Emerson Temple and we call her Emmy. After having her for a year, we should have called her Piper so we could have said Hyper Piper all the time---because that is her--HYPER!:aimeeyork

I do the same thing. When Bunny dose something bad. Its Bunny Rose and When Bella dose something Bad it BELLA BEAR.

My mom started calling bunny. Bunny rose when she did something bad.. (Bunny leaved with my mom for about 4 months while we where here in Germany getting are Apt and stuff together)I think its bc My middle name is rose and she was use to saying it in the house lol. So it stuck :p

LoL Loki, get scolded?? hahhaha... no really, he does... but a lot of times when i "talk" to him it's "Loki Oki Poki" or something like that .. hehe

Murfee's middle name is Alexander but he rarely gets called that. I'm thinking back and all of my pets have had middle names. My last dog was Kinzee Leigh and once I had a horse named Sis..she had quite a personality so she was Sissy Pissy:)

My girls names are Princess Pia and Trixie Bear. For the most part I call them Pia and Trixie and many nicknames but when they are bad I definately say their full names. I have a pekingese named Snoot but he's never bad :p So I just call him my perfect little man!!! :D
