Maggie (my 4 year old) hates ALL THINGS WATER! :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown There have been occasions on which we've been out walking when it started to sprinkle...merely a light sprinkle, mind you, and she would walk a couple steps then look back over her shoulder at me as if this were something I had planned just to piss her off!

Molly I don't know about yet. We've really not had occasion to throw her out in the rain. I do know that she HATES the morning dew from the grass on her belly (being a short little thing...not indicative of how neglected the lawn is around here). And she is TERRIFIED of thunder storms. (We had one of those the other night... :eek: :eek: :eek: )

If it's raining hard there is NO way I'm getting the dogs out of the house, or, if I do, they just hang out under the eaves of the house with their little legs crossed!

I won't sit here and lie. I'm in North Central Texas. Your storms are coming here tonight. Maggie usually wants to go outside around 1AM. That's about the time the storms should arrive. I would love for her to be trained both ways. I tried it, but it confused her. She is outside all the way now. She has a playpen on the porch with a wee wee pad in it, but she thinks it's to lay on. So, I guess I'll get wet tonight.

HA HA!!!! It's nice and clear up here now! These storms are pretty heinous. We've got flooding everywhere. Maybe they will lighten up some before they get there. And, in all fairnes, we get yours a lot too :) . You would think we could find something better to share than rain!

have any of you tried the long legged rain coats? with boots? i can't seem to find them. all the rain coats are just to cover the backs and head but the legs are what gets wet on these guys. and do anything like that exist?
