She made it through!! Truffles is out of surgery and her dr said she did good :nursing: She had 10 teeth pulled too!! My poor baby :( He said she will be sore...thats a lot of teeth! I call back at 4pm to schedule her pickup time for today.... Thank you everyone who kept her in your prayers and who tried to make me feel better! I've been cleaning our office all day to keep my mind off of it!! Be productive now because I know I will be curled up right next to her when she gets home! |
Awww I am so glad to hear that Truffles recovered well and will be home soon with her mommy :animal36 I am sure lots of quality time will be spent with her once she gets home   Did the vet mention medicine? I know when Diamond came home, he prescribed her some medicine for the next few days, she had a whopping 16 or 18 teeth pulled, I can't remember but she was not herself for a couple days. |

I know she was on a pain medicine for 3-4 days after her teeth pulling, I had to give that to her via a syringe. Actually they forgot to give it to me when we left and I didn't even think of it until the second day when she was just laying around, that was my fault! When she got spayed, she was on another pain medicine too I think...probably the same one. I am trying to remember what she ate when she got her teeth pulled...I think I made her rice and boiled chicken but very small pieces. I am pretty sure within 2 days, she was eating her regular food again. |
Why did they need teeth pulled? Is this something I should be looking at?:D |

I think the baby teeth should fall out on their own by 10 or 11 months, if it's been longer than that you may want to look into it. |
I'm so glad shes doing well after surgery!!! Wow 10 teeth poor girl, I guess she will be abit sore for awhile. I'm glad they gave her some pain meds. |
Well good...she's been eating chicken and rice anyway :D I remember it taking a long time before Vixxen could "pee" too....poor baby. You're right V, I won't feel right till I get to hold her....I'm so thankful it is over!! I don't even wanna go through this again! I'm not this nervous when I'M the one having surgery!! LOL! |
Oh MB, I had no idea Truffles was going in today!! :( Iam sooooo glad it is over and she did well!! WOW... that is alot of teeth. YIKES!! Give her a kiss from her Aunty Jade. ;) |
Awww, poor thing...she'll be good as new in no time. Glad everything went OK. |
Hows she doing Mom?? Hope shes resting well.....Wish you a speedy recovery truffles!!! |
Wishing Truffles a good and speedy recovery ! She will be fine without those teeth - I am assuming they are a second row - baby teeth - Tara had a full second row top and bottom removed at 7 months, and she was fully recovered next day;) Hope Truffles has same recovery time:D :animal-pa Debra x x x x |

She is in her bed all wrapped in her blanket and I have the bed right next to me on top of my bed. I figured that way if I have to walk around I dont have to disturb her by picking her up...just gotta pick up her bed ;) |
