On Leno a few mins ago she said she has a "tiny teacup Pomeranian backstage". No wonder there are so many people using the term. Can you imagine how many people just saw that?

Yeah well she's not the brightest lightbulb to begin with...but it's a damn shame that people heard that and so many people respect her opinion! Imagine if the thousands of Nicole Ritchie wanna-be's start buying "teacups". Puppy mills and bad breaders will be in business forever!

I'm 3 to 6 hours behind you guys so I set it on reminder so I can watch later.I heard on VH1 the other day that she bought her pomeranrian for $8000.Can you believe that.

Im not a fan of Nicole or Paris; Too me they are not smart in the first place, and is so sad that they use this poor animals like a fashion statement. :mad: But what is sadder that copycats start imitaiting them, but when they realize how hard is to care for an animal they abandon them on shelters.

First of all there is no such thing and second the dog didnt look that small in the pic they showed! It just looked like a Pom!!! She paid $8K for it and she complained and then she said the woman got arrested. Jeeez! too bad its not as easy for everyone that deals with an unscrupulous breeder to get them behind bars!!!

She is not good publicity for the breed IMHO. I really think her and Paris just use them for a fashion statement but what do I know.

I can see it now - The Gap and Foleys one day will probably be selling matching dog carriers in their accessory departments - I bet some stores already do

Those two girls are the worst thing to happen to women in a long time. I wouldn't want the world to know that I was that ignorant as they "pretend" to be :thumbdown You would think that they wouldn't flaunt little dogs like that around, you could tell that they just use them as props. And to brag that she paid $8,000, just goes to show you how ignorant she really is. I don't care how much money you have, you still use your sense of judgement, of which she doesn't have.

actully it is the in thing right now becuse of people like them flaunting their dogs. This is why pup clothing is becoming more available. It has it's ups and downs, a down being that a billion little girls want to imulate everything they do, and up is I can find more puppy clothes, I just hope it isnt at the expense of little guys being abandoned later because peole dont relize what they were getting in to when they buy a dog :(

I know that most of us know that a true teacup is only one that holds tea, however we can educate, slowly but surly. Unfortunatly teacup is a term that has been around for years, and I mean years, I remeber hearing it about a chi back in the late 70'sIt will take some time to get rid of it!

Idiots like them(nicole and Paris) make it difficult to teach others what a puppy mill is. Is unbelievable how this place can sell a pup for ridiculous amounts and get people to buy them. She said on the show last night that the lady that sold her the "tiny teacup Pom" just got arrested. She didnt say the name "Wizard of Claws" though. Too bad she didnt let everyone know why... this is the problem I have with these idiots.. she was on a Nat'l show and could've taken the time to mention s/thing about why the lady was arrested and throw in a little PSA about the importance of checking out breeders etc so what happend to her doesnt happen to anyone else, but noooooo.... instead shd talked about how her pets match her house and her clothes and how they even look alike! Oh and that her fiance's cats match him and his rooms and that he has 600+ pairs of sneakers. Gimme a break! You sure called it in the title of the thread! What an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!
