Difference in behavior after neutering? Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has any experiences to share about changes in their pups' behavior after being neutered. My vet said that any changes that may occur will not take place for 4-8 weeks because that is when the chemicals balance out or something along those lines. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!!! Rocky's Mommy |
1 Attachment(s) i heard the same thing, but i didnt notice any changes at all in Tino after he was neutered. he didnt gain weight or get lazy and it didnt change his personality at all. he has stayed exactly the same. it did slow down his nightly duck-humping to one a week. |
Ha, ha! Rocky humps a duck too, although his humping friend is green. That picture made me laugh so hard because if I didn't know better I would think it was Rocky! |
its the funniest thing!!! i have washed that duck umpteen times and it still looks horrible! i even bought him a new one, but he keeps going back to his "first love." |
LOL! That is the funniest picture :D I've heard about yorkies having one stuffed animal that they hump but neither of mine have ever done that.. I think its so funny though  I too wonder what my babies will act like once they are spayed/neutered in just a few weeks. I am mostly worried about their discomfort in the days prior to surgery. I hope they get right back to thier fun selves ;) |

Only differences we notice after castration is a lot less humping (which pleased Mollie ;) ) and less marking, no weight gain or changes in behaviour other than that. |
