Where to buy- belly band? Well we have decided that it istime to get Mr. Milo a belly band....he is into marking everything. and I can't stand it!!!! I did a google search and found several sites that sell, but has anyone bought from a particular place and had good luck? Looking for referrals here......and any advice from those who use them.....thanks :) |
did you try barkingdogclothes. She has good deals and she is fast. I got my clothes in a week from the day I ordered. It was fast and even had one custome made. She even gives a 10% discount to yorkietalkers. |
Bellybands have been a life saver for me. I don't haveto worry about Hefner having an accident when I take him places. I love the ones Dante sells on her site, yorkiecouture.com. There are of a good fabric, they fit well and they have suspenders to keep them on and they look like clothes. You can get them very cheaply (3 for $10) from a lady (breeder)that makes them by hand. If you are interested I will look it up. |
EBAY ! Some people who have males swear you can get the best prices for belly bands and there also is a site called Rhaposdy yorkies that offers cute ones - I found this post by Whispersmom from a while back - If you can use a needle and thread, you can make a belly band for 50 cents...All you need is a small piece of fabric, a piece of toweling or batting, and velcro..You will not believe how simple they are. I tried to attach a picof my boy, Jesse in his cowboy jeans belly band. I will try again so you can see how easy it is to make.. Rini - I hope this was ok to copy and I kept the part of your little RB ANGEL Jesse in the post if that's ok.....I still have his pretty face in my computer and he was a total doll....I know you must miss him terribly |
Thanks will go check them out now.... Kim, sorry to hear about all of your crashes....it's a new week so things have to get better right? I have not been on yt in about 4 days and there were over 4300 new posts for me to read...good grief, the stress! |
So I really am clueless here.....what do you put in one of these bands? Thanks |
Thanks Villette, gotta love ebay....IF I ever get thru all the new posts here maybe I can go there...... take care |
THere are all different "qualities" of course. I like the ultra suede ones or the ones with elastic so they stay in place. You just put a small feminine pad in it and then if they pee in it you simply replace the pad. :D Yeah, I'm almost back to better than before the "crashes"!! I am buying two new cars!!! My daughter came home this weekend with Buddha and my computer is "like new" or better. I still cannot access my email and I have to re install a lot of peripheral software but....c'est la vie!! I am not one to complain!! :p |
Kim Glad to hear all is almost back to normal....ge who would have thought a little pee pad thingy would have so many variations!! Thanks for the lesson on what to do...... Take care, and Happy Memorial Day, Jim |
I buy my belly bands at Barkin Dog Clothes. http://www.barkindogclothes.com/bark...othesmisc.html |
I have seen these at petco and petsmart in my area. |
Petsmart is about a half hour away from us, so I am gonna try to pick one out on line and order....just easier for me....LAZY!! Thanks, I am finding that not all have a "pad" in them....some are just fabric like and you wash after each use.....all I know is I am gonna order something today! |
Petsmart charges about $16 for 1 doggie diaper! That's a lot in my book. They are extremely easy to make. I made up a bunch for my mom's male and for my store. But, heck I've even seen people tie a sock around it in a pinch! |
Chloe- check your pm thanks |
Yeah, I've even used a bandana with an adhesive pad in it in an emergency! |
