Older yorkies - anyone? My little Maxi is 6 years old. He is such a sweet little doggie and i love him to death! He just got a new sister - a month ago. They are great friends - now. It seems that she's given him new energy. Has anyone else experienced this? |
no havent experienced it, only have one yorkie, but that sounds soooo cute!!! :) :) |
Too cute. Getting a girlfriend has given him a new outlook. |
yup. we got our puppy a little less than 2 years ago when our oldest was about 7. At first, Tyke wanted NOTHING to do with Bubba...and then after a while it changed. Bubba and him play a lot. I'll be sitting downstairs and it's nice and quiet and then here the snorting and growling and look over and their almost rolling all over each other  Now Tyke can't do this much anymore because of his neck and arthritis problems...but everyone once in a while they'll start up again and I then break them apart for fear of Tyke hurting himself more. We like to say that Bubba keeps Tyke young :p |
I have my precious old girl Spanky, born way back in '95. Her soulmate Tigger passed in Oct last year. She and I grieved for months; she shrank to half her usual Porky Yorky size. In early Feb this year, I brough home little Mango at 12 weeks. Spanky, to my surprise completely rejected her; I was devastated. I just think that Mango, with her demented little puppy routine, frequent "zoomies", driving Spanky nuts, was just toooo much for my poor Senior. However in the last week or so, I am starting to see a glimmer of hope...:) When Spanky is sleeping, Mango kind of creeps up on her to snuggle (soooo cute), and the old girl no longer snaps. It just warms my heart to see my two precious little babies, the old and the baby, snoozing, smushed together.....:p |
That is so true! Coco looks at him like she is just "soooooo in love".. |
