not looking forward to the next week For the last few weeks we have been weaning Tyke off of a medication so he can start a new arthritis medication. This week he had 1/4 a pill twice and he has been walking stiffly. Starting next week, he gets nothing. We were warned that he might be in pain but he has to be off the medicine a full week before he is put on this new arthritis medicine. I really hope he doesn't start walking all hunched up and not able to pick his head up and shaking and panting all the time. Before he was put on this medicine, that was what he would do and then he was fine. But now he might have a full week of that and I am so not looking forward to one of my babies being put through that :( He has to be put on this arthritis medication though...so it's not like there's a choice. I guess I'll have to be prepared to give him some extra TLC in between class and work next week :) My poor doggie is getting old :( |
Awwww I feel for you!! None of us want our babies to be in pain and I can imagine how you must be feeling...lots of TLC is definetly in order...good luck and keep us posted!! Dawn |
Prayers for Tyke that all will be well with him. Bless you for the great care. |
Awwww...I'm sorry for your baby. Just give him extra kisses and gentle hugs next week. |
It always amazes me when your heart hurts litterally when our furbabies or human babies hurt in anyway. We want to protect and nurture. That says so much about who you are to even make that post. |
Have you tried any of the food supplements with joint support ingredients included in them? I know Missing Link has a formula with joint support and you can get them from your vet also. |
Poor little guy. I know it must be hard to watch him be in pain. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't get bad, and that this week just FLIES by. Hang in there :) |
