Announcing my new Baby Lilly
 

I wanted to make a formal announcement about our newest member to the family. Lilly is a Yorkie mix. I just got her Sunday. She will be a year old in two weeks and needed a loving home. She is about 3 lbs. with a very tiny and petite body. Went to her first beauty shop appt. and is looking fabulous. LOL. We are so blessed to have Lilly in our lives and she is adjusting well. She finally slept in my big bed last night with the rest of the zoo. She has started wanting to play now also, but my other members need a few more days to welcome her in completely (meaning playtime). She does play with the kittens as they are more accepting of a new member. We love her to pieces and so glad she has joined us.

In reality, I got Lilly off of Craigslist for a whopping $100. This included her crate, bag of Kibbles & Bits (BLAHHH) food, dress, leash, food bowls, and dog bed. It was a younger girl who had just moved in with a new boyfriend to an apt. (5 min. from my house) that wouldn't take pets. She dumped the dog on her Aunt who wanted to the dog gone NOW. Yet, I see it as I really lucked out to get such a wonderful little baby. She will now have a home forever until she is ready for heaven many, many years from now.

Here is Lilly and Bijou together. Believe it or not their measurements are identical with the exception of their length. Bijou is 9" long and Lilly is 10" long. Funny as you can't tell with that puffy hairdo that Lilly has going on. I am so proud of them.

How cute is she and her sister!! She looks to me like a bit of pomeranian in her. I am so glad you got her.

Oh I just LOVE her. She is just darling!! Your so lucky to have those beautiful babies. ;)

Lilly is precious. Bijou and she together are such a good looking couple - almost like looking in a mirror.

Bless your heart..I'm glad she is in her forever home. What is with people, sometimes they just think that dogs have no feelings. Imagine, just being pushed aside and then that person not even wanting you...makes me sad.

My thoughts exactly. First she is with the young girl, then for a week she is at the Aunt's house, then onto my house. I am one that thinks that is so unfair to do with animals. I hope eventually Lilly only remembers this as her home.

You are to sweet. My kids slept in my room last night. They are still sleeping. I just went and checked on everyone and Lilly is all snuggled up in the bed with my oldest child. She got up to go pee outside (since it is so cold it was a quick pee....no sniffing around LOL) and right back to bed. :)
