Ok, so we had Scruffy neutered.....descriptive quest.... Ok, I DO totally feel STUPID asking this question, but I am going to, because I don't get it?!?!? Scruffy got Neutered on Monday, and after sleeping all night on Monday, he was like brand new on Tues. But I am suppose to check his incision 2x a day to make sure it's not red or anything........he's fine..............NOW FOR THE STUPID QUESTION OF THE YEAR: Yesterday morning when he got up, I checked his incision, and he had a hard on, but there looked to be 2 NADS at the bottom of his penis, kind of one on each side of the base of his penis.....it made me question that I may not know what actually took place in his surgery..........I thought they were removed? There is NOTHING in the "sac" .............I am just very confused, and I am sure everyone is laughing at this question, because there is probably an obvious answer!?!?! Thanks!!! |
Interesting choice of words.., but aside from that, I'm not sure why that happens, but I can assure you that those are not in testicles. I wouldn't worry about it. |
Rudys looked like that also. As far as I know, they just shriveled up and went away. ;) :D :yelrotflm |
Yes, I know, I choose words very carefully!:p :D  |
I know exactly what you mean. After I had my first yorkie neutered it looked like "they" were still there but after the area completely healed it doesnt look like that anymore. But, even now, a year after the neuter, he still has a little bulge where they used to be if his lipstick comes out! Hope this helps. |
I agree before my Rocky was neutered i thought those were his testicles but they werent because those are still there if you notice underneath his but not to be graphic but on the underside there will be skin that's just a little looser than the rest of his underside that's where his testies were so dont worry about it |
I just checked and those little puffs are gone on Max. He was neutered around Christmas. I don't remember how long they were there, but they're perfectly normal, and ....no, I wasn't laughing at you! Give him a hug, Judy |
Thanks everyone, who knows what those things are, as long as they aren't used for 'makin babies' LOL!!!:D :D :D Thanks for your replies :animal36 |
It's not a stupid question at all. It happens to my little neutered stud all the time. I joke Gus' slid up out of fear and the doctor couldn't find them. :D You know how dogs lock together when mating? They are the glands that swell that prevent them from seperating until the deed is done. |
