have you ever been around a dog (any breed), more than just meeting the dog, but actually around it a lot, that you just didn't like???

I've groomed some that I hoped to never see again but typically I appreciate all breeds.

YES, and I feel badly about it!!

My sister has a chihuahua, that is NUTS!! She will be excited to see you and play and be sweet for a few minutes, then she is snarling and growling and acting like a complete idiot! She will pee all over you, kiss you then try to snap!! She is definatily one of those that 'only her mother' can love.!!

I don't take my dogs there anymore because I am afraid she's going to hurt them. She wants to play then getts pissed off and wants to snap!

I KNOW chihuahua's can have an attitude. I have one. But not like her. I think she was dropped on her little head or something:D

yeah, i am a firm believer that there are no bad breeds....any breed of dog can be a great dog. but there are very bad owners. I guess that is what I was getting at...if there were any dogs that the owners were just "those kinds" of owners and their dogs were just intolerable.

I ask because I have one of those dogs in my life and it is soooooooo hard. I have tried very hard to get close to this dog but he just makes me CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, i hear ya. my bff's mom has a few dogs and they are all very annoying like that. they bark their butts off non stop if you so much as move in the house. then they act like they want to love on you and when you try to love on the, they act crazy. and they poo and pee everywhere. I blame their owner...she lets them get away with murder, doesn't care to try and train them at all, and thinks they are angels :eek:

I love all animals, but I will admit there are some breeds I'm not fond of such as: Pit bull's, poodle's and chihuahua's.

My good friend has a bichon that I used to think was psycho! 6 years of owning this dog and she would always try to attack us (she is my old neighbour by the way). This dog just hates people...until I got Tia. Apparently you have to own a dog yourself to be in this dog's good books. As soon as she saw Tia and knew I was a dog owner, Ruby (the Bichon) couldn't get enough of me! Now we have play dates every week! A complete personality turn-around! (she still hates non-dog-owning people though)

No, I pretty much love them all. I guess that is why I have a zoo. LOL Now there are some that I think are ugly, but their personality usually is able to shine through and win me over.
