Grrrrrrrrrrrrr my mom dumped fireplace ashes and stuff out in the yard (like a year ago).... and there is charcoal in it!...... toby keeps grabbing charcoal, coming in the house and chewing it up!!! there is black stuff everywhere!!!! ....... i allready called the poison control place and they said that the charcoal wasnt bad, just dont let him eat anymore........ they said the most it will do is "clean out" his system or make him throw up.......... i am relieved hes ok, but i am not looking foreward to the vacumign i am going to have to do :( |
Give him a nice piece of foam and a newspaper to play with, by the time he gets done, the charcoal will seem like a piece of cake. lol Actually, get a shop vac and clean up the outside, or do it by hand - as they say: an ounce of prevention... and all that. |
i cant clena up the outside....... the ashes and stuff are acting as "Concrete" so that they hold my moms statue up..... and i am DEFFINATLY not going to risk breaking anything..... ive shut the door, i just need to watch and make sure he gets out when he needs to potty |
Charcoal is used to treat ingestions of toxic substances but not the charcoal from our grills - lol...what a messy thing to be playing with !! Can you cover it with something or toss it ? They will find the MOST yukky stuff to get infatuated with - I bet he's having fun with his little charcoal chunks ! |
That's true, don't break stuff. My husband is growing a garden, now Bronx keeps bringing in potatoe's, bell peppers and such - he also like to collect socks, ice cream pint cups, toilet paper rolls, spray can lids. All he finds goes right in front of the tv on the carpet. I'm just glad I don't have to clean up all over the house, just the livingroom. |
