Lol, no help? It'd only been 8 minutes since your first post. :) Also, maybe you would get more help if you posted on the off topic forum. Have you checked party supply stores like Party City? They have every theme possible. |
did you see the "lol" part? it was a joke dont be so serious. and we have card and party factory here and they dont have care bear themed items. i was asking for great ideas. i know where i can get stuff from but i wanted some good ideas on experienced baby shower throwers lol! |
My favorite game to play when i throw baby showers is the dirty diaper game! Thia is hillarous! what you do is go buy a little bag of newborn diapers and 10 candybars( snickers,hershy,mounds,baby ruth, ETC) then you melt the candy bar in the diaper in the microwave just before the guests arive or right before the game. then give them paper and tell them to write 1-10 on it and write 1-10 on the diapers and pass them around give them 5-10 min or so and make sure eveyone has something written down and then call out the answers the guest with the most answers wins! This is so funny make sure you have a camera because the candy bars look like poop and to see people stick their faces in to smell it is soooooo funny. It's been a big hit at all our showers people love it! |
there is also the clothes pin game. You give each guest a clothes pin when they arrive and if they cross their legs any other guest can take their clothes pin the guest with the most pins at the end of the shower wins a prize. you can add to the not crossing legs by adding they can't say certain words either like Baby, Due Date, the mother to be's name stuff like that i would only do like 2-3 words with the crossing of the legs.. The baby word scramble and the baby food test is great to. Get 10 jars of baby food label the tops and take off the label( MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN THE NAME OF THE BABY FOOD ON A PEICE OF PAPER) give guests a piece of paper and have them guess what the baby food is (THEY CAN'T OPEN IT) then you give the baby food to the mom to be when party is over along with left over diapers and things from the memory tray. Memory tray .. put 10 things baby related ( binki, brush ,sock,bottle ETC) on a tray cover tray till ready bring tray in and you take around to let everyone see take tray out of room and give guests 2 min to write all the items that was on the tray guest with most anwers wins. |
I was going to say the tray thing. My sister actually put together a basket as her gift which she used instead of the tray. It had tons of stuff in it. We did one where you get into groups of 3, 2 people wrap the 3 one with toilet paper to make a diaper, the best toilet paper diaper wins. do a web search for shower ideas, i bet you come up with tons. |
