Ive seen it done on tv. but im not sure weather its safe or not. and my yorkies hair is so dark i doubt itd work. I think its differnt i guess. |
thats just crazy and stupid,,i know when i dye my hair, im tortured by the itch.. that poor dog |
I saw a lady in a pet store a few months ago that had a yorkie with pink highlights. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Wrong, wrong, wrong. |
1 Attachment(s) My son & his girlfriend dyed our Jaxon last summer for a big race in Ohio to match our race car-She is a groomer & she used a human dye-they didn't leave it on him more than 1 min & he just now has a little bit of Lilac (it faded) left on the end of his topnot. I wouldn't recommend it unless you use the wash out stuff they use at Halloween. They didn't want him to get the color on us & the motorhome so they thought the 3 week rinse was o.k.-Well, if you wash your hair everyday it might go away alot faster. Here is the smurf!! He was defintley the talk of the 5 day race:D :D |
omg!!!! |
I just don't understand why you would want to? What would be the point? |
I saw a lot of that in NYC on Halloween. I don't get it. Judy |
1 Attachment(s) It did not bother him-we did not do his face & we kept it away from his skin, we left his original color as his roots. I would never do something that would harm him!!!!! We didn't follow the directions since they wanted you to bleach the hair first & then put on dye & leave under a plastic bag. She put it on his topknot first & then decided he needed it on his skirt- well that looked stupid -so she put it all over him & I freaked out because it was so blue!!! We immediately washed it off & he was pretty blue. it is the same stuff you see the kids putting on the bottom of their hair when they color it red, pink, blue etc. It was from Walgreen's & it did not come off on our clothes or furniture. Here is another picture of the famous Gravelrama Blue Dog getting ready for the parade. |
I also know someone, a hairdresser, who dyed her tiny poodle pink too. I wouldn't dye a yorkie but you always hear the term "pink poodle" ... I guess  Anyway, not sure what she used but she researched to make sure what she used was safe....would definately make sure you know it is not dangerous if licked and hopefully won't damage their hair.... |
im glad you didnt put it by his scalp or skin..... good thinking |
2 Attachment(s) call me stupid i dont care we did it for halloween we use the spay in one that washes out and made sure it didnt go near there skin |
