Innocent Kid Tryin to PLAY ! Does anyone with 2 yorkies have this scenario ? Little Cheri gets a toy - Chanel (oldest) TAKES that toy and guards it - Cheri gets ANOTHER toy and Chanel takes THAT one ....pretty soon we have a toy pile....I'm lookin at about 8 toys in a big pile as I type this.... Poor Cheri lays there 'woo-wooing' at Chanel who is just sitting there with her STASH happy as a clam - lol...To RUB Cheri's face in it - She will SQUEAK the toys right in Cheri's face ! I tell Chanel that Cheri is "Just an Innocent Kid tryin to Play" and she STILL won't fork up a toy - Little Cheri is always getting the small toys cause they are the only ones she can hide ! They LOVE this game and one day Cheri is going to have a nice BIG toy that she can squeak to her hearts content - but probably only when Chanel is spying or something cause ....Chanel is THE TOY BOSS |
I have the same problem w/Pebbles & Skittles - Skittles is 13 wks old today - but if she has a toy - Pebbles will nonchalantly walk up & take it away from Skittles - she hides it while Skittles cries! Pebbles doesn't even want to play w/it - but doesn't want her to have it either! |
Villette multiply that by 6 and its a normal day in my life:) try bones lol even worse everyone takes each others over and over again although when I hear one growling I pick up all the bones for the day... thats where I draw the line with them...as long as they are nice to one another they will get them if not I pick em up! |
Biddy does the same thing to Tucker!! She is not even interested in a toy until Tucker wants to play with it!! She's so selfish!! She is just like my 8 year old niece Keeley - we catch her all the time, she'll sit on a chair on top of a pile of her sister's toys so that she can't play with them!! What gives?! |
Jane does that to Jeremiah! He innocenntly plays with his toy then BAM! Jane cames in acting like the Wicked Witch of The West. Taking his toys and little bones and chew them. When he wants some of his toys. She snarls and growls at him. Sounds like my parents at the dinner table...LOL : |
My two do the same. THe have a role reversal though. One day Prince will take everything from Angel, and the next, Angel takes everything from Prince. lol |
Schatzie does this game to Annabelle. Rubs that toy or treat right into Annabelle's face....How mean and snotty, LOL!!! If Annabelle could talk I am sure she would be calling Schatzie a "brat" for sure..... Schatzie is the toy boss for sure! :p |
LOL !! Mean & Snotty ??? LMAO !! That is soooo true ! I get a kick watching the posturing but Chanel is SNOTTY I tell ya ! lol...Glad to hear how normal it is - Sometimes Chanel makes Cheri scream but always kisses her better - then steals the toys while she's kissing her.... Kind of Cinderella's step sister ! It makes me laugh cause they really love each other - but the torment over toys is something else ! |
Sandrine is always doing that to Gioia . |

Oh yeah.. my two have a serious case of "I want what you got." I joke with my husband that we really only need one toy for the two of them.. they wouldn't even notice that the others were gone because they only have eyes for what the other has. Pixie will try and go get other toys but Tuffy always will drop whatever he has just taken from her to get the other toys. They are just like little kids.. and they haven't learned how to share. *lol* :p |
LOL! Roxy and Gibson are the same way. Roxy will ALWAYS take toys or bones away from Gibson. The funny thing is when I play fetch with them,Roxy is bigger and faster than Gibson so he can never get the ball before she does, so instead he resorts to running after her and biting her ear, pulling her back and taking it from her! :animal-sm |
If I play fetch with my boyfriends dog, Memphis will run behind him and hold onto his tail. |
