Marley pee on the sofa!!!!.... help!!! I'm so shocked  that Marley did this on his favorite spot twice ..... I don't know what is going on with him he has never done this...he is not neutered because I'm terrified.... could this be the reason? Also Leeloo is our new baby so I wonder if it has to do with jealousy:confused: I really need to resolve this because he is my baby and I don't want to restrain him in any way. Is there anything I can do? |
Percy peed on our bed the first time he went up there. Usually the cats sleep there at night, and I am sure it was out of jealousy (Percy is not housetrained yet, so he sleeps in his training area). He tried it a second time but we caught him. We just gathered everyone in that area, the cats, and percy, and pet and loved on everyone. We let Percy take a little nap with us there while the cats were on the bed too. He hasn't tried it again. So we really think he was just trying to mark the area. Make sure you soak the area with NM or something like that, to get the scent off. |
oh it is tough.. Layla peed on the couch about 3 months ago... still trying to get rid of the smell.. it soaks right in and tyring to get it out of the foam is nearly impossible... all i can say is a lot of Frebreeze |
Thank you guys ! I guess there is not much to do but clean the area....hope that my little man won't do it again. I just can't understand why:confused: Could he be unhappy?? Sorry I know I'm a little paranoic about my babies...but I know you guys understand:p |
well it might have something to do with not being neutered... marking the space where you guys usually sit. also with Layla it was kinda jsut an accident.. my fault.. she hadn't been out in a while.. and she got very excited |
Oh my goodness! Gibson has done this on three occasions! Every time he has done this it has been when he is really excited and runs across the sofa to greet me and he leaves his trail behind. |
