PLEASE help with growth chart info!! romeo is 7 weeks old and weighs 1.9 pounds. i am trying to figure out how to use this thing so i can explain it to someone else. i think i have been staring at it for too long!!:( i'm "trying" to use this one by yorkie passion: http://www.yorkiepassion.com/growthchart.htm |

Ok you have to figure up 1.9 lbs in oz. 16 oz equals 1 lbs. so your 7 week old puppy weighs 25 oz by my calculations and im bad at math lol. So then you find 25 oz on the chart and go down to the bottom where it says 18 months that is where they are figureing your puppy with be full grown. It says 5 lbs for your 7 week puppy. |

by this chart my puppy who is 1.8 lbs which equals 24 oz she is 17 weeks tomorow and thats not an option so its would be between the the two other numbers 21 oz and 26 oz. my puppy at 18 months should be more then 2lbs but less then 2.5lbs by this chart. |

I have always been told that you triple the weight at 8 weeks and double the weight at 12 weeks. So your puppy should be a little more than triple his/her current weight at only 7 weeks. That is what my vet and both breeders told me:) Hope that helps! |
