My only problem is my boy who's 3lbs always pees on his front paws (when he goes on pee pads) :( I have to constantly clean paws any suggestions thanks |
2 Attachment(s) mine stay in my set up for most of the day cause they aren't totally trained. well Troy is and i let her roam a bit but Walker gets jealous and starts to bark a lot and i can't stand all that noise. but mine can go outside for a bit to cause i have tie outs at the door. but they seem to be getting the hang of going on the newspaper and they go outside also. i had the crate next to the pen but Walker can jump and climb so i had to move it. but this works for right now. heres a pic... i have since added more toys. |
I have two dogs, and two crates. One plastic and one wire. As a rule of thumb the dogs seem to prefer the wire, but it is covered (to make it a little darker) with a spare towel, and it does have a real pillow covered in fake fur which probably makes it more comfortable. However the plastic one is used often by one of the dogs (ie when she gets kicked out of the wire one). As long as it feels safe and comfy, I dont think it matters. The plastic one is good for being washed out when "accidents" happen and is about half the size of my wire one, which means its better for travel to the vets etc. |
