My flight got cancelled! I am so bummed. I was supposed to leave to go get Libby at 5:00 AM Sunday morn and found out tonight that the flight is cancelled. I checked into driving to Bismarck which is 2 hours away and catching one of their flights, but that one is already overbooked by 4 people. So, I'm not getting my little Libby tomorrow and am so let down. Now the plan is for next weekend, which isn't a good weekend for me to travel, so my neice's husband is going to go for me and pick up Libby. If something happens with those plans, I don't know what I'll do. *sigh* I prayed everything would go smoothly...the last thing I dreamed would happen would be the flight being cancelled! |
Awww I'm sorry your flight was cancelled, but im sure it will be worth the wait when you finally get Libby. |
Oh shoot, how disappointing:( Sorry you'll have to wait an extra week, hang in there!! |

Maybe you weren't meant to take that flight because something bad might've happened...one time my brother was late leaving for work and on his way there he decided to take a back road to save time from traffic. When he got to work he found out that a car taking that some route that he would've taken had he not been late for work had been hit head on by a semi that had slid on the icy roads and no one in that car survived. That could've been him had he found his car keys that morning...I believe God was watching over him that day. Connie I know how disappointed you are. But the week will fly by and you will have your little girl in no time. You will just have to give her some extra kisses when you get her..;) I'll be sure to send you some pics of her throught the week. Boy, am I going to miss her.. she is such a little sweety. |
Oh no!!! I'm sure you already checked if they had a later flight. Try not to fret, Little Libby Rae will be home soon!! BTW, when I went to the airport to fly out to get Angel, my flight was cancelled too. But the United put me on an American Flight instead and everything worked out fine. |
Man Connie that just plain sucks....I had just emailed you but usually an airline will put you on a different flight - did they not try or was there just nothing for you ?? The week WILL go by fast and just keep thinking of all those puppy kisses waiting for you.....but I'm so sorry you aren't getting her today... |
OH! Me! Connie I feel so bad for you I know your heart just sank when you heard the news.It may be a blessing in disguise that your flight was cancelled~I hope the week passes quickly for you. |

Connie, I'm sorry this happened to you. How dissapointing. That stinks. You have to keep busy and make the week fly by. It will all be worth it when your little miss is snuggled up next to you this time next week. I hope the week is over before you know it. |
Geezz Connie, I must have missed that your getting a new puppy???? I will have to go seach and see if I can find it. Sorry about the plane getting cancelled, but sometimes you have to take the "signs" that it was meant to be. You will have your new baby girl soon!! Congraulations! |

Try and remember everything happens for a reason. Maybe something bad would have happen if the flight wasn't canceled. I thought when you book a flight, you can't give it to anyone else because they have to show proof of ID and it has to match what's in their computer. I had one heck of a time trying to convince one gal who I was simply because the person that made the reservation, spelled my last name wrong. Better check on that. |
