It's a mystery!
 
This is so funny. I picked up my hubby to take him to get his car and had him drive. He noticed my gas light was on, so pulled into a gas station. He's out filling gas and I rolled the window down so Maddie could look out at him. A car with a man and two ladies drives up and they're all smiling at Maddie. The guy gets out...walks over to the window where she is and says, "Well hello Maddie! How are you doing? You look so pretty...you're all dressed up! It's good to see you, Maddie!" He talks to her a little more and walks away to gas up his car. While he was talking to Maddie, I figured my hubby knew him...and my hubby is out there thinking I must know him. Neither one of us has a clue who that man was and Maddie won't tell us! LOL It's driing me crazy! I told my grandson about it and he says maybe Maddie's been meeting men online. LOL

So, Maddie has a secret life!

Please be careful -- Connie, I know you are, but it is really strange --like you said a mystery-- that a complete stranger would KNOW Maddie and come over to talk with her and not introduce himself to you.

I agree with all the puppy nappings! Mabey his wife is a YT member and he recognized her?:confused:

hmm that is weeeiirrrddd... do you take her to a doggy day care? maybe he could be one of the caretakers? orr do you have a sticker on your car with her name on it?

I don't have any stickers on the car with her name and she didn't have a name tag on...and besides, he said, "Hi Maddie" before he even got over to the car. I'm thinking maybe he's a husband to someone that knows my sister or works with my daughter...or maybe I met him one time and don't remember him? Who knows! I hope somehow I can figure it out! If I had known he didn't know my hubby, I would have asked him who he was. I didn't get a good look at the ladies in the car, but from what I could see, I didn't recognize them either, and they were all smiles. Weird!

Hmmmm, Does she got to daycare or board when you are away? Katy does this to me sometimes. When I inquire futher, I usally find out that they are one of her daycare friends parents.

Oh my goodness, that would have freaked me out! Maybe your husband was talking to her when he started pumping gas and the man overheard it. ???? Do you ever take her to a local park or puppy daycare? I don't know, very odd to me. However, I like the online explanation. :)

I hope you figure it out.

Did you say Maddie's name when he was in earshot? Maybe he heard you say her name, and he just thought she was cute and wanted to say hello to her, and use her name rather than ask for it.
