Anyone know how bad "crayons" are??
 
Hi all.....jut wondering if any of you know if crayons are really bad for the babies....I just caught bella with one all chewed up into peices! :eek: Im going to look around and see what I can find out, but in the mean time if any of you know I would appreciate it. Thanks

I doubt that they can do anything. Both lulu and lex have eaten their fair share of my 2 year olds crayons. Matter of fact my two year old has been known to bit into one once or twice. Nothing has happened. I would have to assume that the crayola company has tested it to be sure that there is nothing harmful to children in the crayons.

Thank you, I kinda thought the same thing but just thought I would ask to be safe.

Oh oh....Bella obviously didn't read #8 of the YORKIE RULES :D

1. I will not play tug of war with Mommie's panties when she is on the toilet.
2. The garbage collector is not stealing our stuff
3. I will not roll my toys behind the fridge.
4. "Kitty Litter Crunchies" are not food.
5. I will not eat other dogs poop.
6. I will not lick human faces after failing pledge #4 or 5.
7. I will not eat the disposable diapers.
8. I will not chew on crayons, especially red ones or Mommie will think I'm hemorraging.
9. We do not have a doorbell and I will not bark everytime I hear one on TV.
10. I will not bite the officers hand when he reaches for Mommie's driver's license

I would assume it's ok since they're non-toxic and kids eat them all the time...you just get to look forward to rainbow poop! :D

LOL!!! I love it...must print these rules out and show to my dogs. Because mine are guilty of breaking several of them. If crayons were bad for dogs, mine would be in serious trouble. My 2 year old son lovessssssss making a game of throwing crayons and seeing whether mommy or one of the dogs will get to it first. I have to say, those 4 leggeds can move so I have been beat to the crayons more than once! :p

like posted above crayons are non toxic so there is no harm to them now you might have a nice surprise with some raimbow colored poop but thats about it lol

LOL!!! I've never seen this one before. I love it! I'm printing it up and framing it. This needs to be toll painted on a plaque!

My Bijou loves a crayon snack. Always can tell when I have colorful pretty poop on her wee pad. She never admits it though. Hee Hee

Oh dear....someone did not tell Percy about #4, or #7....maybe if I show him this he will stop?

Percy ate one of my sons crayons. I totally panicked...but the vet said the same things the pedi said when my son ate a crayon....Won't hurt him, and at least I will get a fun colored poop to clean up!

Orange crayons prompted me to start a thread (a long time ago) about the oddest thing your yorkie has pooped. It was a riot, you'd be surprised......

...but back to the matter at hand, my kids LOVE crayons -- I have to keep them on the third shelf up -- they devour crayons any time they can get their little mouths on them and then poop in color for days.

My little girl has a serious obsession with crayons so Dusty ( my yorkie) gets his fair share. It just means you get the vacum out more. They normally get one right after you put the vacum up for the day.
