I've been working on my goldfish pond since the weather's warmed up a little. Rebel is fascinated by the goldfish. He likes to run to the pond and watch me feed them. He will stick one paw in when one comes to the top to eat.

The water's too cold to jump in right now, so I don't know. Also, when he was a tiny puppy he fell in one night so I'm really surprised that he will even go near it. I guess he just can't stay away from the "fishies" :)

Oh thats so cute. I have a 125 gal aquarium and Chachi and Jewels like to watch the fish. I have ponds too but no fish in them

I don't want to be a downer....but someone lost their little yorkie to their fish pond here....:( what may be curiosity & super cute may one day have him jumping in...I just wanted to let you know that....

How awful! My 2 are not allowed in the yard, though, unless I (or my son) am right there with them. Any time they are near the pond (and it's a very small one) I am standing right there with them, too.

Since he fell in when he was tiny, I've put in solar lights around the perimeter and I can see every move they make even at night.

I didn't want to post that but I'm glad to read what you said........Growing up, we had lots of ponds around us and that just isn't the kind of thing people normally think of....I know I never did....but being that Yorkies are SO nosy...I just wanted to post that for his sake....

awww.....he has "fishy" friends!

A friend of mine has a pond and when she goes to the water and just touches the water with her hand, the fishing come up thinking it's feeding time.

I wonder how long it'll take before they come to Rebel's paw?
