Flowers & Bushes? I just took Lillie and my moms Pug for a walk and got totally yelled at by this grumpy lady. Buddy, the pug pee'd on her dead flowers and she told me "will you stop letting that dog pee on my flowers!" I told her they already looked dead to me. does pee kill flowers & bushes? |
Female pee is supposed to kill grass but Jewels hasnt killed any of our grass |
pee What's a little pee...mine peed in the yard for 35 yrs..never ruined anything..but the carpets inside..LOL |
I think that all animal owners should be respectful of the properties of others. What would mean nothing to us may mean a great deal to them and it is not for us to decide. We should simply respect others as we ourselves want to be respected. |

Can't say I necessarily blame her, to be honest, I probably would have said something too. |
I don't know how much damage they do to flowers, but we live in the country and the neighbor lets his dog run the countryside. He always (well used to) came and peed on my evergreens and it turns them brown. Something about the amonia in their pee..?.. Anyway, we made the neighbor understand that if his dog came to our house again...we would have to take him to the animal shelter. If he didn't care enough about his dog then maybe they could find someone who would care. |
We have brown spots all over our back yard from where Flash (our Basset) pees. The vet told us it was due to high amonia levels in her urine and it wasn't unusual and nothing to really worry about. Trixie and Lexi don't seem to have that effect on the grass. I've never heard of anyone getting upset for a dog peeing on their plants though...pooping in their yard, maybe... Sounds to me like she wanted to blame her lacking green thumb on your pooches.;) But in any case, if she didn't like it, you have to be respectful...the ole fart... |
