aww she is gorgeous! I know your parents will fall in love with her and let you keep her. Let us know how she is doing once situated |
I hope she heals fast......I'm sure being well taken care of will help with her healing too........and I bet your parents forget all about giving her up after 2 months I know I couldn't resist |
Poor baby!:( I hate to see them all bandaged up like that, but what a cutie!:) |
Awww Shes a cutie, I hope she heals good and fast, and I hope you get to keep her. |
Oh what a cutie pie! You know your parents are going to let you keep her! Who can say no! - They know she's a keeper too! What are you going to name her? Morrrrrrrgan..... You're getting a Sister!!!!! |
thanks guys! i should be going to pick her up very soon. i'm just waiting for the doc to do rounds and then give me a call. i have no idea if i'm going to change her name. she already knows it and it will be hard, that's why i've just shortened it to Chi-Chi. i haven't come up with anything else but i'm open to suggestions if you guys have any |

I like Chi-Chi a lot.......I think it fits her.....and probably close enough to her name that she'll recognize it...... |
She is just precious! Hope you get to keep her. Did you have to pay for the surgery? |
You have a HUGE heart... ---for such a tiny baby.....LOL... My wish is for a quick recovery and a long happy life.....with YOU!!!!!! |
Awww she is adorable. She looks like she has a very sweet temperment and would make a great companion. I hope this story ends the way you want it to. I don't think your parents would be able to get rid of her once she has won their hearts. You are a great person for doing what you did to save this baby. I hate to know how many people don't take their animals to a vet after a tramatic injury like this one. Poor baby to sit in pain for so long. Just give her a happy life and she will love you unconditionally. If you aren't able to keep her, I'm sure you will have no trouble finding her a home. She is surely a keeper though.... :) |
just got back from picking Chi-chi up. She's in her crate right now with food, water, a bed and blanket, and a chewy. Morgan is dancing around her cage trying to play. LOL there is a little tension coming from Chi-chi but morgan doesn't seem to sense it and keeps trying to get in her face. |

She has a great temperment so far. I'm sure some other personality traits will start appearing once she gets more comfortable here. i think she may be a tad food aggressive because she growled at morgan when she was eating, but that could also be because chi-chi is in the crate and morgan is not so Chi feels more protective. this could also be because the original owners had more then one dog and in mexico its kinda a every man for themself feeding schedule. i'm hoping my parents cave eventually. my dad just came down here and named her Cheech LOL so maybe that's what we'll call her, who knows. if she does end up needing a home i'll let you guys know. I know a few people on here are chihuahua lovers and might be interested. |

Hope your parents' hearts warm as quickly as her leg heals! |
Awww I just saw this thread and I must say Chi-Chi (or Cheech ;) ) is precious!!! I really hope you can keep her, I think Morgan will really love having a new sibling to play with. I'm sure your parents will fall in love. I also wanted to say I think its really great you were there for the little sweetie in her time of need, what a wonderful thing you've done for her. Please keep the pictures coming!!!! |
