does your little boy "hootchie kootchie"??? my husband said to me "you gave romeo the right name!" :D he will be 7 weeks tmr and he loves to get on top of couple of his toys and get busy!!! it is so funny. i always say when people ask about his name that he is a lover not a fighter and looks like i was right on with that! |
My little girl Gypsy loves to hootchie kootchie......she doesn't try to kill Bobo....he is her boyfriend. ha ha ha |
lynn i am going to be looking for a little girl soon but i am afraid of what romeo might do to her!!!! :p |
OMGosh that is too funny.. Mine did the same thing, they even got on the Cat..LOL and he would let them... |
OMG!! not the cat!!! :D i can't believe that the cat would stand for that. my neighbor has a cat and a little yorkie and the cat doesn't play well with the little girl - she will swat her in an instant!! |
Hahahaha!! We got Diesel when he was 7 wks and he started doing that when he was 8 wks old!! On his bear.. and my brother and Cousin!!!! |
Pepper used to do that too... When he was about 11 weeks and up. Not really anymore after he got fixed and I don't let him... You should be careful, there were a few dogs hurt by humping too ... hmm eagerly. But I agree, it's a funny sight |
I agree, definitely be careful. My puppy is 8 months old and just got fixed recently so luckily he slowed down with that. We used to think it was funny when Duncan was little but as he got older and... more mature i guess.. it started to freak us out because "it" would get stuck out for like a lonnnng time (at least an hour until it went completely away:eek:  ) and the poor thing would seem so uncomfortable.. he would just lay in a ball.. It was really scarey, you never realize how long an hour can seem until something like that happens- I'm sure that it was unusual for something like that to happen, but I doubt Duncan is the only one who that happened it. Knowing all this I'd say nip it in the bud and try to keep him from doing it too much/for too long... |
Oh YAHHHHH... Rusty does it to. Very comical. He does it to where he gets stuck out. We pick him up and hold him like a baby and he just falls asleep. As soon as it is gone.... pops back up and starts running around again. It is so funny how he is drop dead tired then all the sudden ok again. Like he has had the workout of his life. :sidesplt: |
Chizzie -- my lady wrestler Yorkie does! She has a "special friend stuffed puppy" and when she is in the Mood:hearts-xx look out! She and the her friend bounce all over the floor like a kid on one of those bouncy balls that you sit on:confused: I can't remember what you call them -- and the look on her face -- I just can't imagine it feeling THAT good! |
Not to critical, but I don't find that behavior amusing. It is a sign of disrespect, and it's disgusting. You don't have to allow it. Just scold them and take away what ever toy is their chosen "playmate". This is not behaviord that I would not want to explain to a child. |
I have been extremely lucky in this area. Chewie is the first male dog I've owned that does not hump. :yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: |
Chachi used to hump but i started getting after him when he did it after I heard one dog on here threw there back out while doing it. He never does it anymore |
