Gift for the vet?
 
Hi everyone!

Has anyone ever given their vet or vet office a gift? I want to do something nice for them,as they treat Lily soooo well, but I dont know what to do?

Suggestions? Opinions?

same here i dont know what to get tho i always give them pics of my pets and they love them they have the pics all over there offices i wanna get something special

I've never given my vet a gift (but she does deserve one!). I know that lots of people send cute photos of their pets (there's a whole wall of their office that is covered with pictures of dogs & cats & ferrets, etc.). That's a really nice gesture though!

In situations like this, I always think a nice bottle of wine is a good idea.

A gift basket that the entire office can shar is always welcome or a plant to freshen things up. If you notice a specific need that they may have as far as an item that would benefit the animals that go there, that might be nice too. How sweet of you to want to that.

Maybe a nice fruit basket...so everyone in the office can enjoy (vet, assitants, and secretary)...just an idea..let me know what you decide..in case I ever find a really good vet who doesn't yell at me...lol

I like the idea of a gift basket (with edible goodies) or a plant. I think I might have to do this for my vet.

I agree, I think thats a great idea -- edible snacks for busy people...

but what kind?

fruits? crackers? cheeses? I dont know which seems best? I would imagine osmething where people could grab it and go....

I have sent my puppie's vet flowers, gift basket and a gift certificate to a nice resturant. I have been having the same vet for 15 years now and I was surprised when she told me that I was the first to send her flowers.

You bet...not just the vet, but the techs too...I used to make a big Christmas lunch, gifts and deliver it. They love to have you send them lunch from a local restaurant also...but the size of the gift is not important, just let them know how much you appreciate them all.

I was in my vets office as emergency and everyone was buzzing around. Pizza smell filled the air. A client had sent them 3 large pizzas with different toppings. They were so happy!!
