Chloe is losing her baby teeth! Tonight 5-month old Chloe was whinning on her blankie with her tug toy. I got it at petsmart. It's a very soft fleece braid. We were tugging and playing fetch. She was being very aggressive and nipped at me. Not enough to break the skin, but I noticed a blood smear on my hand. I looked closer and she had a really loose upper tooth. It looks like she has lost both front bottom teeth and three upper teeth including one that was hanging on by a thread. We pulled it. She has one more that is very loose in the top front. I guess this is why she was wanting to play tug? It probably made her teeth feel good. Should I switch to canned food for a bit or will she chew on her back teeth? It seems like she chews on the back anyway. The ones in the back don't seem loose at all. Will she lose all her teeth? Thanks, Heather |
It is normal. She may lose them on her own just keep playing lots of tug of war with her |
All mine lost all their teeth except their canines. They had to be extracted at the vets. Misha's roots were very long. I'm still watching Max, haven't seen any teeth fall out yet. He doesn't like my fingers in his mouth to check. |
