Will her hair grow?? 2 Attachment(s) London looks like a Lion!!! lol She has fluffy hair on her head and it seems to grow faster than her body hair. Her body hair is really short and close to her body. Does anyone have a yorkie like this and did their hair grow? She is about 5 months and a half. Heres pics for example: The 1st pic she was about 10 weeks old, the 2nd pic she was almost 5 mos but she basically looks the same. |
I cannot answer your questions but! SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! O My, that precious little face... d |
Wow I didn't know our girls were so close in age. I feel the same way about my girl. Seems like her hair on her body has barely grown since I got her. It's maybe three inches from the ground but it was kinda that length many weeks ago, LOL! Maybe London is just a slow grower? I do see a bit of growth though. Hopefully someone with more experience can tell you. |
London is adorable. I had a friend with the same problem.... turns out she had an outfit on her puppy all the time. Ince she stopped putting them on all the time the hair began to grow. i don't know if that is truly the reason , but it seemed to help. Good luck with your gorgeous baby girl! Erika |
That's the opposite of mine! Longish body hair and slower growing head and face hair. |
2 Attachment(s) Hi! I can sympathize with your problem. When I got my Max (aka Squishy), he looked kind of the same way. I attached two pictures of him to show you the difference. As he got older, his coat improved very much (well you can see that). Maybe you should have her trimmed around her head until the fur on her back catches up? |
oops, forgot to add that your baby is PRECIOUS |

1 Attachment(s) Rusty's is like that. Fluffy head, VERY VERY short haired body. I am hoping it will grow longer. It has seemed to grow in the last month or so... it is just taking FOREVER. He is also about 5 1/2 months old. Here is a pic I took a couple of weeks ago, his hair ino his head is a little fluffier now than then. I wonder if there is some sort of vitamin or something we could give for hair health/growth? Just a thought:confused: |
OMG I'm in love. That little face is too precious. |

I have never heard of internal fleas. They can have internal worms but not fleas |
Cozy grew really slow and then all of a sudden she started to grow hair fast. Only she still have really short hair on her chest. She is almost one now and I think she is gorgeous but I am very bias. |
Sorry, I don't know the answer, but that first picture (from the side) looks like Tina Turner hair! LOL I can just picture it bouncing around :p |
OMG, London is the most precious thing ever!!! I think she's adorable with her little lion hairstyle. ;) I have also never heard of internal fleas. I just googled it and came up with nothing... all I found was internal flea control - which is ingestable items that will repel external fleas (i.e. garlic). Maybe she just has slow-growing hair. Did you ask the breeder if her parents/grandparents had normal growing hair? |
