That ISN'T a Yorkie!! part 2 1 Attachment(s) Guys what do you think of that design? the Website emailed me back with a question if that Yorkie design will do better... Maybe the body should be a little shorter? Any thought are welcome! |
Looks more like a scottie to me, but definately better |

Well, it's certainly better than the first one but it's still not quite right and I can't put my finger on what needs to be fixed:( It kinda looks like a Westie right now. Maybe make the body more compact and the hair on the face longer? I dunno. |
Yeah, I know, I can't put the finger on what should be changed either -sigh-. The first look you take on it, you don't think 'Yorkie' |
That looks more like a yorkie but the legs look a little short |
The hair on the face is too short. Most yorkies(at least show ones) have long hair. It looks like a scottie to me too. |
It certainly is starting to at least resemble a Yorkie. To me it looks just like a Silky:( Carol & Buddy:aimeeyork |

why not send them some pics? http://www.amazingyorkies.com/1-side-major.jpg http://www.sunyorkies.com/yorkie-side.jpg |
Maybe if it had longer facial hair and a little longer tail with a little bit or hair on it? something that looks a little more delicate. |
Have you ever gone to the AKC site, it will show you what the yorkie should look like, and give you a lot of information about yorkies. |
No -- that is still not a yorkie! Have them look at the Yorkie mailbox on this site: http://www.themailboxranch.com/dogsi...ilboxes6.shtml the blanket here: http://cgi.ebay.com/YORKSHIRE-TERRIE...QQcmdZViewItem T-shirt: http://www.cafepress.com/buy/yorkie/-/pg_4 A mug: http://www.dogdecor.com/yorkie-coffe...ilhouette.html Welcome sign: http://www.dogstuff.com/000000breedc...garden0001.htm Those will give them a better idea. |
It looks like the chest sticks out too far, but I am no yorkie expert so maybe it is supposed to look like that. I don't think Hannahs sticks out like that though. |
Facial hair longer and tail needs to be straight UP with some fringe. AND IF POSSIBLE... maybe a hint of seeing a topknot |
