Yorkie Dreams? Do you every catch your baby dreaming?? I do quite often and I just wish I could see inside his little head and know exactly what he's dreaming about. He always seems to be "running" when he dreams. He's usually okay, but every once in a while, he seems a bit scared so I wake him up. If your dog dreams, what do you think it's about?? Running through a field maybe, playing with mom and dad? Any ideas? |
I see Teddy Bear dreaming the most. He is definitely running. Sometimes his body is just kind of pulsing and I think it is a silent bark. Other times these little squeeky sounds come out of him that I am pretty sure are barks. When I see him seeming really agitated I wake him up. I read somewhere where you shouldn't wake them up when dreaming, but when he looks so upset, I do it anyway. It is so funny to watch most of the time. |
Yeah, those little legs twitching can be pretty cute. Makes you feel sorry for the bunnies/cats they're no doubt after.;) If they appear agitated, it is best to just soothe them. I will usually touch Oz or pat him gently and either go SHHHHHHH or tell him "it's OK." He doesn't even wake up most of the time but seems much more at ease after that. |

Bentley dreams every once in awhile and he just runs, never barks... But Zoey dreams quite often, the last 3 nights I've had to wake her up because she seemed a little scared or something, just something different. So I always wake her up when she's like that. It kinda scares me!! |

She'll be two next month and she still "sucks" just like a puppy. I don't remember them doing it for much past the little puppy stage before. Guess she still remembers her mom.:D |

Getting a bath. He hates it. |
awww, they r soo cute! valentino barks in his sleep alot, its soo sweet! i just hope no nightmares;) |
I wonder what they're dreaming of, too. Teagan will softly growl in her sleep, but she usually whimpers and kicks and squeaks and stuff. I don't wake her up when she's in the middle of a cycle like that, since it's basically asking to be bitten! When she's startled awake, she will snarl and attack, although she seldom actually connects. (Thankfully, she's gotten much better with this habit over the last two years!) I have found that if I call her name and ensure she is actually awake, she's fine. |
