Is Timmy really free or a Scam ??? I wasn't sure which forum to post this on, so I chose this one. I recently inquired about a yorkie puppy named Timmy on pupmatch.com that had no price listed thinking it was a mistake and that I was giving them a HeadsUp to add a price, Right. With out just coming right out and saying it. I basically said if the puppy is free I will take it. So this is the reply I got .... hello, The pup is available,So i want you to give me your full name and address so that i can get you tje shipping cost. Thanks This has to be a Scam Right????? |

I ran into TONS of scams just like this! I would run not walk away from this... I can't believe how many of these I found when I was looking... |
yes a scam |
hate to say it.... scam..... big time.. you can tell by the way their word things, it probably isnt p.correct but they are not from here and want you to pay some weird shipping fee or send a cashier's check. i responded to a ton of ads looking for my new baby -best bet to go and see the babies yourself, so you can get a feel for what they will be like as adults and how they are treated and cared for. weirdly enough, i got a reply from a few newspapers i had responded to (about 3months later) that there was a possible yorkie scam I had emailed ---type in yorkie scam or puppy scam in a web search and you'll see some of the red flags to watch out for. |
Scam all the way. They want you to send $275 or more for shipping. After that, good luck getting your money back. Some have offered to pick them up, so there is no shipping. You won't hear from them on that. |

I think I will try the picking up angle, just to mess with them.;) |
